Family-friendly, modern ski in/ski out cabin in the middle of Holtardalen. The cabin is located high up on the hill right next to the ski center in Rauland with cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and hiking right outside the cabin wall. Great holiday home in scenic Rauland. The holiday home offers a perfect combination of comfort, functionality and traditional Norwegian cabin architecture. Ideal for relaxing holidays in beautiful surroundings. The holiday home is designed to give guests a sense of calm and coziness with modern facilities and is comfortably equipped, ideal for a successful family holiday. Cozy living spaces with good entertainment options, toys available for the children, as well as a fully equipped home office with docking station, monitor, mouse and keyboard. There are also training devices such as dumbbells, benches, slings etc. The ski areas in Holtardalen, Tiur, and Vierli have a total of 12 lifts and 26 slopes, as well as 150 km of cross-country skiing trails. The cabin has parking just outside the cabin wall and access to an electric car charger. From the sunny terrace there is a fantastic view of the surroundings and the mountains. Outdoor area with fire pit, barbecue, playhouse and practical outdoor furniture. The cabin owners' skis can be used for a fee. There are also toboggans, skis, steering sleds and sleds for cross-country skiing which can be borrowed free of charge. Rauland is a great holiday destination all year round. In spring, summer and autumn, you can go for great hikes in the forest and mountains, and take your fishing rod to one of the many fishing lakes. Book horse riding tours in the area, cycle in the beautiful countryside or take a trip to the historically interesting town of Rjukan. The hike to the Gaustatoppen (1883 m.a.s.l.) is recommended! For guests with children, we recommend walking to Dansarsteinen or hiking up to Falkeriset; here you walk on stone paths built by Sherpas from Nepal. Just a 9-minute drive from the cabin, you will find Vierli with summer activities such as boat/canoe hire, fishing, animals, playground, frisbee golf and mini golf. In addition to nature experiences, Rauland offer cultural experiences such as local craft shops, festivals and historic sites. The local tradition and culture are deeply rooted and give visitors a unique insight into Norwegian cultural life.
