This beautiful retreat set deep in the unspoiled west Wales countryside is the ideal setting for a large family or group of friends to enjoy a wonderfully peaceful holiday. The secluded stone and slate barn is set in a beautiful hidden valley on an exclusive site with a shared swimming pool, sauna and spa pool, surrounded by fields and with far-reaching views of the Preseli Hills. You’ll discover tranquil walks from the doorstep while golden beaches in historic Tenby and colourful Saundersfoot on the glorious Pembrokeshire coast are within 22 miles. Both offer sheltered swimming, water sports and golden sands. Take a stroll around the market town of Narberth, just 11.5 miles away, to find a splendid range of independent shops and eateries.
This lovely barn conversion is set in the ground of a former working farm and has been thoughtfully converted to high environmental standards, including water drawn from a natural spring. The use of natural materials and character touches such as the thick barn walls and latch doors create a lovely rustic feel throughout. The ground floor houses a family bathroom and four appealing bedrooms: two king-size with en-suite shower rooms and two twins. The master bedroom also has its own seating area. Heading upstairs, a beautifully light and spacious open-plan living space awaits, offering lovely rural views beneath a splendid, vaulted roof with beams. Comfortable leather sofas sit before an impressive wood burner and there’s a separate dining area, with an adjacent well-equipped, country-style kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar. There is also a convenient cloakroom on this level.
The barn has a private outdoor space housing seating and a BBQ, while a large and mature shared garden with a lawn and seating is ideal for watching the sun go down. Opposite the cottage is the superb indoor swimming pool, with a sauna, hot tub and changing area which is shared by the three cottages on the site. There is private parking for up to three cars.
