The Neighborhood:
The house is nestled right near the seafront in Bracklesham Bay. It's an attractive part of West Sussex that's popular with holidaymakers. The pebble beach is the star attraction, of course, but there's plenty more in the area to keep you occupied.
There's a convenience store close by where you can stock up on those essentials to fill the kitchen cupboards and fridge freezer at the start of your stay. Bracklesham Bay also has an oven pizza restaurant, Chinese, Indian, fish & chip shop, Billy's on the Beach (a licensed seafront cafe/restaurant) and GOAT, an artisan coffee shop. There is also everything you need in the nearby village of East Wittering, with a fishmonger, butcher, pharmacy, greengrocers and mini supermarkets.
We are also fortunate here with numerous great pubs to choose from! The Lamb (West Wittering), The Shore (East Wittering), The Witering (West Wittering), and The Ship (Itchenor).
There are water-based activities such as kite surfing, kayaking, and paddle board hire for the adventurous types in your group. And there's plenty to do in the nearby East and West Wittering, which has glorious sandy beaches.
Chichester is not too far away either, and this is a popular, historic city with bars, restaurants, pubs, shops, and coffee shops to keep you all entertained. It has a cathedral and a theatre too.
If you're in the area for horse racing at Goodwood or the Festival of Speed, booking to stay here means you won't have far to go to get to and from the venue.
Getting Around:
A car will give you much freedom to explore and enjoy the beautiful West Sussex area. As you already know, there is free parking with the property.
But having your vehicle is by no means essential, as there's plenty that you can reach on foot or by bike if you need to.
The nearest bus stop is about a 10 minute walk away, from where you can catch services into Chichester and along to East and West Wittering, Chichester train station connects you with locations across southern England, including Portsmouth, Brighton and London.

- Please message us prior to tell us the details of your dog (breed/age)
- Dogs must be well/house trained
- Dogs should only be allowed in the communal parts of the house ie not in bedrooms or upstairs
- Please clear up after your dog in the garden and around the property (fines payable if this isn't adhered to)
- Muddy paws should be cleaned before they're allowed into the house
- Please never leave dogs in the property unsupervised
