The area offers visitors many lovely walks in all directions including the Herefordshire Trail which runs through the village, and also nearby is the Shropshire Way. Close by is the pretty village of Bucknell which nestles on the banks of the River Redlake and lies within the Shropshire Hills - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering a pub, butcher and general store. The historic medieval market town of Ludlow is situated on the River Teme, amongst the outstanding countryside of the Welsh Marches. Ludlow Castle is over 900-years old and contains fascinating examples of architecture while below, the Millennium Green offers a large public riverside green and the popular Green Cafe.
