Lefkada Seascape Apt w Breathtaking Sivota Views
Summary:
WE offer breakfast with EXTRA fee ( not included ) .Stay alongside the water's edge in the extraordinary Ionian archipelago of Greece. This charming apartment for four guests in the hamlet of Sivota is surrounded by some of Greece's most spectacular coastline and beaches.
Wake up each morning to the gentle lapping of the water just meters away from your bed. Sip your coffee each morning sitting on your balcony overlooking the small harbor as you watch the sailboats coming and going. Breakfast is included with this darling apartment.
The space
This well-appointed and air-conditioned apartment receives guests with the same hospitality for which Greece is famous. It's simultaneously practical, gracious, and welcoming. If your Greek travels bring you to this area, you will enjoy this ideal harborside location!
Two spacious bedrooms, each with a queen/double bed and plenty of space and storage, provide a comfortable night's rest for guests. Bed linens for each bed and towels for each guest are included. The light-filled rooms have direct access to the balcony through large glass doors.
There is one bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Included are a hairdryer, shampoo, soap, and hot water.
During your time in the apartment, relax, enjoy the wonderful views of the harbor or surrounding lush hillsides that seem to drop straight into the water, or enjoy some television. There is also WiFi available.
A full kitchen allows you to prepare meals during your stay, but there are nearby eateries as well. The kitchen is well stocked with basics such as pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery.
The area
Welcome to an area known as the Greek Amalfi Coast! The coastline is dotted with charming seaside villages, spectacular clear-water beaches, mountain villages, and ancient archaeological sites.
Sivota is a small, traditional Greek village at the edge of a small sheltered bay lined with lush-green hills. It has been described by CNN Travel this way: "Sivota is a small fishing village with a pleasant promenade, tiny center, and grandiose setting." We would add that the turquoise blue water along this coastline is so wonderful that long after you're home, you will long for it!
The apartment is situated along Sivota's little harbor. It is lined with tavernas and small shops. Nearby you will find some of Greece's most beautiful sandy beaches tucked into the rugged, winding coastline. Most beaches in the area are well organized with sun loungers, bars, eateries, and, occasionally, water sports. However, you will also find beautiful secluded coves with sandy beaches, some reachable only by boat.
Sivota is in the Riviera of Epirus, a mountainous region with dense forests, picturesque villages, rivers, and rich archeological history. The island of Corfu is opposite the village across the harbor. There is plenty to see and do in the area of Sivota, but many visitors come for the laid-back, friendly atmosphere.
There are beautiful beaches to the north and south of the village, very close by. The famous resort town of Parga is 20 miles away, and the charming village of Perdika, with spectacular views, is seven miles away.
Arilas and Karavostasi are both excellent beaches near to Sivota.
Other Things to Note:
Dear guest,
We hope you are looking forward to your upcoming stay with us!
We would like to inform you about an important regulation mandated by the Greek government. From April to October, all guests are required by law to pay an Environmental Fee. This fee cannot be included in the booking price and must be collected separately before arrival, as stipulated by the Greek authorities.
The fee is:
âŹ8 per night for apartments
âŹ15 per night for villas
Please note:
This amount is not a charge from us, and we do not profit from it in any way.
Once we collect this fee, we pay it in full directly to the government as a tax.
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to waive, reduce, or absorb this fee, no matter the circumstances.
Payment is required before check-in, as per Greek law.
We completely understand this might be frustrating, and we sincerely wish we could make it easier for you. However, we are legally obligated to comply, and without this payment, check-in is not permitted.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Should you have any questions or need assistance with the payment process, please donât hesitate to reach out.
Warm regards.
