    Lovely place

    Lovely apartment very cosy and spotless in a great location in the heart of York and everything is in walking distance had a fantastic weekend and will definitely be booking again the only downside was that it’s only means of cooking was a microwave would have been good to have a toaster as well so could have made breakfast but other than that was brilliant

    A cozy and clean little apartment

    We had a great stay at this place. It was tidy and clean, the mattress was absolutely amazing. We had everything we needed for our stay there and the best thing about it it's the location, right in the heart of the city. The only cons were the noise(which is understandable because of the location) and the poor internet connection. Anyway, if we planned to travel to York again, we surely gonna stay there once again. Amazing place, really.

    The apartment is secure and well-presented and is ideally placed for all the central York entertainment and attractions. Overall, the room is clean and the fittings are well maintained with the odd loose fitting in the bathroom. However, both the lower and upper bed sheets were stained and presumably not clean which is a big red flag. Kitchen area is compact and fine for a couple of nights stay, although probably unnecessary. That space could be put to much better use for storage. Clearly the owners have made the most of the space they have, however the room and bathroom are extremely cramped. Accommodating three would be extremely uncomfortable. Surface space is non-existent. Two tiny bed-side shelves and a small circular console table. Leaving your luggage and other items on the floor around the foot of the bed is the only option. A small dressing table under the TV would be preferable and lose the sofa bed to create more usable space. No aerial and over-the-air TV channels means reliance on streaming. Wifi is very poor on the TV and any connected devices connect so expect constant freezing and dropouts. The window sound-proofing and keeps most of the noise out when closed. Unfortunately though, in the heat, both need to be open. The noisy, poorly placed wall fan is completely ineffective at circulating any air in the room. Having to leave the window open meant the noise was horrendous with the nightlife still going on way into 2/3am; not much sleep was had.

    Excellent location and easy secure access to building and apartment. Plenty bars/restaurants on doorstep. Cafe and Tesco below. Small but perfectly formed. Would suggest providing a toaster to compliment the kitchen facilities. Bit noise from bar at rear of property but expected in city centre. Ok when windows closed. Lovely stay. Thanku.
