About this property
Potted Shrimp - an apartment that sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom
Potted Shrimp is in an ideal location, and it is perfect for a week-long break or a romantic getaway in the heart of St Mawes. The open-plan layout has been beautifully appointed and decorated, and has a bright and modern feel. However your lasting memory of Potted Shrimp is the superb location, you can abandon your car for the duration of your holiday, explore St Mawes, sample the local hostelries, explore the local area by ferry, swim in the sea, sunbathe on the beaches, or go for inspirational walks.
St Mawes is one of the most exclusive traditional villages in the Country, with a wealth of activities within close reach. Historic Castles from the era of Henry VIII, glistening blue waters, bustling beaches, Cornish Pubs, award-winning restaurants, amazing coastal walks, ferries to different locations, little motor boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards, all available for rental. (During the season) The Roseland peninsula has a huge variety of places to explore, there are many beaches, some with golden sands, some with shingle, all with a splattering of rock pools, there are secluded coves, towering cliffs, and the famous lighthouse at St Anthony. (Fraggle Rock for everyone of a certain age!) The artists' haven of Portscatho is well worth a visit, as is Veryan, with its famous round houses.
Accommodation
Entrance level: The front door leads into the kitchen area, with fully fitted units and appliances, a breakfast bar with stools, and a living area, with sofa and Smart TV, and a bay window that has views of the harbour. There is a double bedroom with 4'6" bed and storage, and a shower room with WC and wash basin.
No outside area.
