About this property
Old log cabin from 1830 with soul.
Welcome to this super cozy little house. The house is located on a farm in the countryside. The farm does not have animals, but there is a cabinetmaker's workshop and a pottery workshop. There is also a small craft shop with local art and craft products. The area is quiet and peaceful. The house is old but renovated in 2012 with a new bathroom and upgraded kitchen and living room. The kitchen is cozy and the living room is airy and nice. We also have nice outdoor areas where you can be when it's summer and the weather is nice. Surrounded by nature and livestock. It's a short way out into nature and you can walk from the door and up the mountain if you wish. In the summer there are countless paths and mountains you can go hiking on. And it's not that far to Dovrefjell with musk deer. In the winter, Oppdal has lots of ski slopes and one of the country's best alpine destinations. It takes 10 minutes to drive to the ski lift.

About the host
Your host
My name is Yngvild and I live in the main house on the farm. I live here with my husband Kyrre and our three sons. We work in the workshops on the farm where we produce furniture and ceramics. We also have a small exclusive shop in our workshop with arts and crafts from the region. We love working in the garden and try to turn it into a lush oasis, even though we actually live in the mountains. We like that people live in the old house and like to get to know new people.
