Older house not fixed up & not worth the money.
There had been an attempt to make this house VRBO-worthy, but it wasn't worth the money. Bathrooms were at the far end of the house, but the one & only tub/shower combo was in the middle in the laundry room. The cabinets (both in the kitchen & bathroom) were old & did not close properly. There was ONE table knife, no toaster, no salt/pepper shakers, etc. We could not cook there. Chairs & tables on deck were nasty, & the view of the property on the left was terrible. No nightstand/lamp in "master" on one side, no nightstand in the other bedroom. My sister had to move a small table out of living room to put her c-pap on. Also, this app will not let me change "loved it" to "not really".
I have all the receipts that I totally remodeled the house at the end of 2017 which includes beautiful porcelain floors, painted walls, cabinets and custom designed ceiling paint, gas log fireplace and brand new central heat and air unit, new furniture and Serta mattresses, purchased Lowe's extra large capacity top load LG washer and LG dryer. The kitchen table and chairs are small, but I have a new one ordered. The kitchen does have salt and pepper shakers as well as tons of cookware. There are several knives, so I'm not sure what she is referring to there. I thought a toaster was there. Apparently, it may have went out and a tenant threw it away, but I just replaced it. In summer of 2017, I paid $38,000 to landscape the front yard with a stucco wall, flagstone, palm trees and a beautiful rock water feature as well as two retaining walls in the back yard. The bathrooms are a Jack and Jill with the tub/shower combo in the middle. There are two brand new lamps in both of the bedrooms she referred to. I find her post distasteful as well as untruth, but I guess, you cannot please everyone no matter what you do.
Two toilets but only one tub/shower combo. Not a huge issue since we only stayed one night. Close to Biloxi. Nice neighborhood.
We enjoyed our stay. First time in the area and it was not far from Ocean Springs or Biloxi. We did some crab trapping and ended with 3 blue crabs. According to my sister, they were delicious! It has 2 bathrooms but only 1 shower, it wasn’t an issue but I guess I assumed 2 bathrooms meant 2 showers. We didn’t have to get a hold of Jan for anything but I did let her know when we arrived and left and she responded pretty quick. Would definitely consider this place again if we come back to the area. Thanks Jan!
This place is awesome. Everything we needed was there. We will defiantly stay here again.
So happy you enjoyed your stay. Safe travels!
The house was not what we were expecting from the photos
The house was ok however it was not as
Nice as the photos it had a odd smell in the home. I feel the price did not match the quality of the home
I am so sorry regarding the smell. I had a guest stay for over 2 months with 2 dogs before you. I am updating my website to no longer take animals. My cleaning crew fumigated, but apparently didn't do a good enough job. I will remedy the problem with the odor. Thank you for letting me know.
Very clean and well kept.
The property was very nice. My family of 3 and another family of 3 stayed. We had fun crabbing with the cages provided. The house was pretty close to all of the adventures we went on yet not In the middle of all the congestion. The only issue we had was the curtains not being thick enough(this is a personal preference of liking it dark when we sleep though) I would definitely stay here again if our travels bring us this way.
