In the heart of trendy Notting Hill is this classic mews house. With two elegant bedrooms and sleeping up to six guests, St Luke’s Mews III is the quintessential London home just a short distance from the tranquillity of Kensington Gardens. Movie buffs will be excited to learn that this mews was the backdrop for the iconic ‘Say it’s carol singers’ scene in Love Actually. Step through the historic and distinctly classic mews exterior and you enter a modern home with contemporary décor that’s been finished to the highest standard. The entrance leads you into the cosy sitting room, with plush furnishings and brightly lit from the large windows. The adjacent kitchen is beautifully appointed and fitted with the latest gadgets and appliances, with a spacious dining table as the focal point. The upper two levels are home to the two bedrooms, warm, inviting spaces that provide you with a calm space at the end of a busy day. The primary bedroom is located on the third floor, boasting a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom. Meanwhile the two guest rooms are on the next level down. The second sitting room cleverly doubles up as a guest bedroom with a Murphy bed that fits back into the wall during the day. The second bedroom has a comfortable single bed and trundle that makes it a suitable space for younger guests. Between the two rooms nestles a nook with an office desk for answering emails or getting some work done, as well as a stylish guest bathroom. Outside, St Luke’s Mews III has one last treasure in store for guests – a delightful and completely private terrace. This sunny spot is perfect for your morning coffee or an evening drink as you relax and plan your next day’s activities. West London has a reputation for marching to its own beat. This bohemian part of the capital is famous for its carnival, its markets, its artisan shops, and some of the best restaurants in the city including The Ledbury and Core by Clare Smyth. A short journey brings you to the green oasis of Hyde Park, and with plenty of access to public transport and the London Underground network, Notting Hill is an ideal base for exploring London at any time of the year.

Home Truths:

- This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between june and september, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. This home accepts babies, toddlers and children but does not accept pets. This home has baby gates that can be installed on request. The murphy bed in the second sitting room is a king-size. The room also features a privacy curtain that shuts off the area from the rest of the second floor. There is a trundle bed in the second bedroom which can be set up for one or two people. Please let us know when you book if you would like it prepared. This home is spread over three floors with no internal elevator. One loveable cat lives at this home. They won't be around during your stay but this home may not be suitable for those with allergies. There is scaffolding up on the building next to this home.
