This apartment exceeded our expectations! The apartment is located in an upscale neighborhood called Posillipo. The view from the balcony was amazing, the very high ceilings and the warm wooden floors were so inviting! The decor has a trendy clean vibe and there are books all the way to the ceiling. We chose to sleep in the loft on the platform bed. Pretty sure it was a futon and I slept amazing all night long. The apartment is located in a plaza with restaurants, bakery, and a coffee bar! There’s a taxi stand in the plaza for convenience but they don’t hang around long and it’s quite pricey to go to the historic center (about $30 euros). Walking will take about 1 hr and 40 minutes. We walked back one time to save money. So I’d say the only negative is the fact that you will spend more money in transport because of its location. The people here are so warm and friendly. On our last day we got up too late for a taxi and a nice Italian married couple dropped us off at the train station. It was a great memory being in the back seat like two little kids while they just carried on with their conversation:-) .
Be sure to walk up the hill about a block and there’s a great little Deli for picking up snacks and basic items like cheese and bread so that you have a few things in the fridge. If you are looking for 100% quiet at night you’re not going to find it here. It’s a lively plaza at night! Of course because this is Naples after all.
