This splendid, spacious holiday home is perfect for families and groups of friends, with easy access to Devon’s coastlines and beautiful countryside. Relax together and spot wildlife in this idyllic setting. The nearby market town of Honiton (1 mile) offers independent shops, bustling street markets and eateries. Broadhembury (3 miles) is a must-visit and one of the most beautiful villages in Devon, where you can enjoy a circular walk before eating at the local pub.
Step into this impressive, lakeside house at ground-floor level and find a beautiful, galleried landing full of natural light. A super-king-size bedroom and a luxurious family shower room are on this level. A chic, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is on the lower ground floor. This stylish space has plenty of glass for a relaxing ambience, pretty views, and doors that open onto a large patio area, allowing seamless indoor/outdoor living. The contemporary kitchen has all the appliances you need to make meal preparation a breeze, while a breakfast bar keeps things casual. There is also a family dining area. The lounge is the heart of the house, where you can gather to watch TV, chat or play games. There is another super-king-size bedroom on this level. On the upper level of the house are two super-king-size bedrooms with TVs and balconies where you can relax with a drink and enjoy the surroundings. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and the other has an en-suite shower room. Dine alfresco on the enclosed patio, stargaze, or stroll across the 5 acres of shared land. There is ample off-road parking.
The iconic Jurassic Coast (18 miles) includes seaside towns such as Branscombe, Sidmouth, and Beer. Lyme Regis (14.5 miles) has a Marine Aquarium that kids will love. For a more relaxed day, head to Killerton House (19.5 miles), which has plenty of family-friendly activities.
