Bay Tree Cottage is a charming thatched retreat nestled in the picturesque coastal village of Burton Bradstock. Blending traditional country character with elegant, thoughtfully styled interiors. The cottage is positioned along the coast road between Weymouth and Bridport, with easy access to the Jurassic Coast and nearby attractions. Pets welcome!
Bay Tree Cottage is a charming 16th century, thatched cottage located in the coastal village of Burton Bradstock. The cottage provides a fantastic base for exploring the local area, with easy access to the Jurassic Coast UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as many popular places to eat and things to do on your doorstep. It lies within easy reach of the traditional market town of Bridport and the Victorian seaside town of Weymouth. Once inside, the cottage is welcoming and tastefully furnished.
Kitchen: The kitchen is compact yet well equipped, with slimline dishwasher, undercounter fridge with ice box, Nespresso coffee machine, Tefal air fryer, DAB radio, electric stove with four ring hob, grill and oven.
Living Room: The tastefully decorated living room is full of character, with low beams, feature window seats, and a functional wood burning stove surrounded by exposed stone walls. There is comfortable seating for guests, along with a flat screen TV with smart functions, DVD player and CD player (along with a selection of CD's and DVD's). There is also a writing desk and Wi-Fi for working from home.
Dining Room: The dining area is open plan with the living room. The circular dining table makes it a sociable space, which is perfect for spending time with loved ones.
Bedrooms: On the first floor are three bedrooms: two doubles, and a single. The main bedroom has its own private en-suite shower room, with walk in shower, heated towel rail and W.C. There is a sink and a vanity unit in the bedroom itself. In the second double bedroom is a double bed, built in wardrobes and a sink and vanity unit also. The single bedroom has a small double bed, which is only suitable for one person.
Bathrooms: 1) The cottage has a ground floor shower room, with shower cubicle, wash hand basin and W.C. 2) Upstairs is the second bathroom which is an en-suite to the main bedroom.
Garden: Spend time outdoors in the south-westerly facing garden, which is fully fenced and on one level. Relax and enjoy a meal around the outside dining table with dining chairs and parasol. The garden patio overlooks views of the rolling countryside and even a sea glimpse!
Road: Please note that Bay Tree Cottage is situated along the coast road, which runs from Weymouth to Bridport. Due to the location, an element of road noise is to be expected.
Parking: No parking, on street parking available nearby.
Pets: 2 dogs welcome.
Utilities: Iron and ironing board provided, please note there is no washing machine.
Families: Highchair provided, please take care of the road when holidaying with children.
Bed linen and towels: Provided, please bring your own beach towels. The property has feather pillows and duvets.
Fuel: Gas central heating.

PLEASE TAKE CARE ON THE MAIN ROAD WHICH RUNS THROUGH THE VILLAGE. We recommend sending only one guest to to open the key safe and open up the house, and then follow with the rest of the guests and luggage etc, once you have established your surroundings. The cottage is very close to the road, there is only a narrow pavement which runs in front of the cottage so please take care.
Access to the property is via the side gate. You'll see the white door with '67' on it, if you look to the left of the front door as you are looking at the cottge, the gate is on your left.
