FAQ’s:
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: From 4:00 PM
Check-out: By 10:00 AM
Is the house suitable for large groups or families?
No! Its a cottage but does have vast grounds / garden.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. The property is family-friendly and the large garden offers ample space for outdoor play. Please supervise children at all times.
Can we bring pets?
Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you’re hoping to bring a furry friend, please contact us before booking to discuss. We ask that pets stay off furniture and are not left alone inside the house. However the large grounds do not have a cordoned off area, so pets need to be supervised.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available. However, please be aware that due to the rural location, speeds may vary.
Can we host parties or events?
Yes small gatherings of 8-10 people, but no more than 6 to sleep over.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage. You’re welcome to smoke outside, but please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly.
Also please remember this property is a cottage of an Old Victorian Rectory, and used to be stables, a school and a Parish Hall - in that order! So it is not a new Barratt Home!! And we are rural so whereas we have the joys of English country living and we are very careful about our properties being spotlessly clean at all times, we do come across the odd cobweb / fly!!!
There are the large back gardens which can be enjoyed by our guests in the Old School House, for watching the stunning sunsets or play...
