Farmhouse on 62 acres - Beautiful Views - Near Campbell Univ. and Ft. Bragg

This is a 100 year old home of the W.H. Salmon family of Harnett County. The home has been remodeled and sits on 62 acres of farmland. The acreage is currently used for farming and home to the Salmon's horses. The interior of the home is very comfortable but this is a place that you'll find peace and relaxation wandering the farm or taking in the sunset on the deck. A great alternative to a hotel or simply a wonderful place for a weekend getaway. The farm sits just Southwest of the town of Lillington and is 15 minutes from Campbell University and 20 minutes to Fort Bragg. Raven Rock State Park is within 10 minutes of the Farm. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

This property was a beautiful retreat for us! Our host, Darrell Salmon, was welcoming, friendly, helpful, and available. We really felt transported to a lovely, private, comfortable home with a gorgeous yard surrounded by horses on one side and farmland on the other. In the early morning, we heard songbirds, along with a hawk and woodpecker in the distance. We were delighted to be near Raven Rock State Park, where we enjoyed hiking to the impressive Raven Rock alongside the Cape Fear River. We hope to visit again very soon! Thanks very much, Darrell!

This was the perfect option for us as we visited family in the area. We felt right at home and the house was incredibly clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. We enjoyed just having coffee on the porch in the morning and viewing the beautiful scenery.

Would certainly stay again. House had everything we needed for my wife and I and three adult children that stayed with us. Very clean and well kept. Property is located in an open, rural setting, but is only 10 minutes from Lillington where you can find all of what you might need: restaurants, grocery, etc. Owner was wonderful to work with.

Beautiful home and beautiful property. But the best part were things you don’t see. You can feel the family history in this home, there is a warmth you feel just walking in. My daughter visited and mentioned it feels like grandma’s. Darryl our host was kind and attentive. Hope we get to come back soon. Highly recommended for a couple or small family.

This 101 year old farmhouse is perfect. It was so much nicer than staying in a hotel room. It’s so peaceful. And Mr. Salmon makes the whole process extremely easy. Just a wonderful place.
