Stunning Views | Luxurious Tiny Cabin w/ Outdoor Bath
Summary:
A bespoke, high-quality cabin, with unspoilt views over the Taf Fechan valley from the elevated wraparound decking, Flora’s is the epitome of escapism.
Situated in the village of Pontsticill, Flora’s offers a perfect base to enjoy the best routes and scenery the Brecon Beacons has to offer – less than 20 minutes from the base of Pen y Fan or the famous Ystradfellte Four Waterfalls, as well as a choice of outdoor activities and equipment hire available within the village.
The Space:
Furnished with a double bed, smart TV, Wi-Fi and seating area, as well as fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, we have everything you need inside to make your stay easy, comfortable and relaxing.
We have installed a hand-crafted copper outdoor bathtub and outdoor seating area, looking out over the valley, a perfect way to unwind in the setting sun or under the stars after a day’s exploration in the surrounding area.
Despite our beautiful rural location, the nearest corner store and takeaway are only 10 mins away, and the nearest supermarket and petrol station are less than 15 minutes away should you need them. If you need anything else locally, we're happy to recommend!
Just be mindful that the front and internal doors of the cabin are a little smaller than standard - mind your head!
Book now and stay with us for your getaway - we look forward to welcoming you soon!
Guest Access:
On-site parking, shared with neighbouring cabin.
The Neighborhood:
A village of industrial heritage, Pontsticill is closely associated with the Brecon Mountain Railway, a steam locomotive tourist railway which operates as an attraction to visitors along the former Brecon and Merthyr Railway line, and Taf Fechan reservoir, constructed to serve the growing industry and population of the South Wales valleys in the 1920s.
Pontsticill also boasts two bustling, dog friendly pubs, situated minutes from the cabin, popular year-round with locals and visitors alike.
Getting Around:
We highly recommend arrival by car due to our rural location, however a local bus runs several times a day between Pontsticill and Merthyr Tydfil, from where you can access trains to major UK cities. (See timetables online)
We welcome cyclists with their own bikes and equipment, although local hire is available if preferred.
