ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES – Villa Amata is an enchanting private villa with a swimming pool nestled in the heart of the Marche region, just a few minutes from the center of Urbania — a Renaissance town world-famous for its ancient ceramics. Created from the restoration of a 17th-century church, the villa preserves the authentic charm of its history while offering all the modern comforts of a holiday home. Surrounded by woods, meadows, and rolling hills, it provides a unique atmosphere where nature and tranquility blend in perfect harmony. Outside, a spacious portico furnished with tables, benches, and comfortable sofas is the ideal spot for dining or enjoying an aperitif at sunset. The large garden features relaxing areas with tables and chairs, perfect for reading or admiring the landscape. The swimming pool overlooking the hills completes the picture, offering moments of pure well-being and serenity. The surrounding area offers unforgettable experiences: the splendid Urbino — cradle of the Renaissance and a UNESCO World Heritage Site — the romantic fortified village of Gradara, the golden beaches of Fano on the Adriatic Sea, the spectacular Furlo Gorge with its panoramic trails, the peaks and nature paths of Mount Nerone, and the magical “Bosco dei Folletti” (Fairy Wood), for an adventure with children among nature and fantasy. Whether for a romantic getaway, a family holiday, or a stay with friends, Villa Amata is the place where time slows down and every detail invites you to relax.

The property is set on two levels. On the ground floor there is a bright dining room with fireplace, living area, kitchen, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with shower, the second with tub). On the first floor, we can find a bright living room and sofa bed (double), a double bedroom, two bedrooms with single beds where a pouf bed can also be added, two bathrooms (one with shower, the second with tub). Air conditioning is available on the first floor. Window nets are installed on all windows, except for the French doors and the bathrooms.
The villa can accommodate up to a maximum of 10 adults.

A nice place

Villa Amata is really a nice place, it is nicely private with a great view and an even greater pool. All the communication was smooth and our messages were replied promptly. The house is nice looking and the surroundings are very neat. The place has quality sun loungers so we enjoyed time by the pool on those. The place has also plenty of shaded area so that was also great cos sun was quite hot at times. We really enjoyed the place and would gladly return.

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in Urbania.

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in Urbania. Het huis was comfortabel en Mercede en Rosella stonden altijd voor ons klaar. Na onweer op dag één viel het warm water uit, maar Mercede kwam direct helpen. Toen we vroegen naar een waterkoker en “nee” als antwoord kregen, stond er de volgende ochtend toch één voor de deur, topservice! Urbania is een charmant dorpje waar toeristen nog opvallen. We hebben heerlijk gegeten, met La Loggia als favoriet. Tijdens een ijsje van de lokale ijsboer konden we het gezellige flaneren van de bevolking gadeslaan. Het huis is typisch Italiaans: niet overdreven luxe, maar met alles wat je nodig hebt. Prachtig uitzicht, groot zwembad en verrassend koel, ondanks airco alleen boven. Minpuntje: wifi dekt niet het hele huis, wat bij pubers soms mopperen gaf. Al vonden wij dat als ouders stiekem helemaal niet zo erg. Een aanrader!

We zijn ook blij dat u de snelle levering van de waterkoker heeft gewaardeerd: we streven er altijd naar om attente service te bieden, zelfs tot in de kleinste details. We nemen nota van uw opmerking over de wifi-dekking en bieden onze excuses aan als dit ongemak heeft veroorzaakt, vooral voor jongere gasten. Urbania is echt een bijzondere plek en we zijn blij dat u de authentieke sfeer, tradities en lokale keuken heeft kunnen ontdekken. Entspannter Urlaub

Wir waren mit 8 Personen von 1-61 Jahre in der Villa. Von der ersten Minute (Schlüsselübergabe vom Gastgeber) bis zur Abreise fühlten wir uns wie zu Hause. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Sehr nett eingerichtetes Haus mit gepflegtem Außenbereich und Pool. Vielen Dank!

Nous avons passé de bonnes vacances en famille (10 personnes) avec des enfants de bas âges. Tout était propre. Avec assez de salle de bain. Mercede est très réactive à nos demandes. Urbania est une charmante petite ville. Nous n’avons pas fait beaucoup d’activités. Nous avons juste visité Urbino. La villa est située tout en haut d’une colline, la voiture est nécessaire. Parfait pour des vacances reposantes!

Ein kleines Paradies in den Marken

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa Amata mit 10 Erwachsenen, einem Kleinkind und zwei Hunden für zwei Wochen genossen. Die sehr netten Eigentümer haben den großen Pool jeden Morgen in einen perfekten Zustand versetzt. Hinter den dicken alten Mauern, mit einer leichten Briese auf dem Berg und dem frischen Pool ließ sich auch die Hitze des Augusts dort gut aushalten. Das attraktive Städtchen Urbania lässt sich in gut 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Der Rückweg den Berg hinauf nimmt vielleicht 20 Minuten in Anspruch. Wir können das tolle Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Schönes Haus, wunderschöner Pool, traumhafte Aussicht und Ruhe

Das Haus liegt auf einem Hügel oberhalb von Urbania. Zu Fuss ist man in 10 Minuten in der Stadt, zurück deutlich länger und anstrengender. Wir waren zu acht mit Hund. Viel Platz, bei zwei nahezu identischen Stockwerken. Der Pool ist sehr schön und liegt etwas unterhalb des Hauses, Auch von hier eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Empfang und Abgabe lief reibungslos. Gerne wieder, auch wenn die italienischen Landstrassen etwas zermürbend sind.....

A wonderful experience!

2016 was the third year running we came on holiday to Villa Amata. Why do we like it so much? The star attractions are the wonderful setting, with extensive views over the surrounding countryside, and the wonderful 15 metre pool, which is maintained every day, early in the morning. The villa is clean, well-appointed and comfortable, with a lovely shaded veranda. The owner is helpful and welcoming. There is lots to do and see in the area and some excellent restaurants. The agents, Dream Holidays, are also helpful and efficient.
