• POOL HEAT:
Heating is available for $35 per day (plus tax) with a 3-day minimum and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Please note the attached spa is not a hot tub—it does not have jets, and it heats to the same temperature as the pool, not exceeding 90°F. The heating system uses heat exchange, which does not operate in temperatures below 50°F. No refunds will be provided if the pool does not reach the desired temperature in cold weather.



• GRILL:
Please note. Some of our homes may be pictured with a gas bbq grill or outdoor built in grill. If guests wish to use the grills, it is the guest's responsibility to clean the grill and replenish the propane tank if needed. A $50 charge will be applied if grills are left unclean. Exchange refill propane tanks can be purchased at numerous local locations. If the grill is locked up, then it is not to be used by guests as it is the homeowner's personal grill. If you would like to have a grill for your vacation, we can arrange a rental grill for your stay.

The property was nice the refrigerator filter need changing was not making ice like it should the front door had to push up on it to close and open it. The movie theater the remotes was missing out and cords was broke. Found the remote at the end downstairs. The dryer was drying slow. Other then that great location...

When we arrived on Sunday, the cleaning ladies told us the washer was broke and not to use it. They said it would be fixed on Monday. We had NO towels anywhere in the place. After a few calls and hours later, we finally got some towels. The washer was a nightmare. I called everyday, twice a day about it, and they told me that someone would come and fix it. That NEVER happened until Thursday night, after 4:00!(We checked out on Friday morning!). We started to smell rotten eggs and finally looked in the washer and found out it was full of water AND the towels. That washer SHOULD have been pumped out on Sunday!. The rotten egg smell didn’t go away completely, so we got to deal with that terrible smell upstairs Call after call and complaint after complaint didn’t seem to matter. They would say, “Oh I am sorry. I will put in an order to get that fixed.” I heard that many times. Then the house has A LOT of wear and tear! It needs to be painted, cleaned up, carpet replaced, and couch replaced. The white leather couch has stuff on it that I had to clean off and the cushions were all cracked and worn. The sliding door handle was broke and very hard to open and close. (They finally fixed that Tuesday.). The movie theater room that my kids were so excited about didn’t even work. The HGMI cable was broke off at one end. My husband went out and bought one and then we found out the surround sound box didn’t work. (They told us that would be fixed, but it never was.). Mark who if the bedroom lights didn’t work and couple TVsdidn’t work.(Someone came on Tuesday and did fix those.). The carpet did NOT look like it was vacuumed at all. There were crumbs and other things all over going upstairs and upstairs in the rooms. The kitchen floor didn’t look like it had been swept. I went around and swept it in a pile because when ai complained about everything, they said to take pictures and send them to them. I asked for the place to be vacuumed and the floors cleaned, BUT they never did that either. The trim all around in the kitchen was dirty and had not been cleaned in a while. They were covered with dust and dirt. There was something that was splashed on the molding in the kitchen and lower pantry door that I had to wipe off with a wipe, so you know that wasn’t cleaned either. The grass needed to be mowed outside and the landscaping needed some attention. Bathrooms were clean. Plan on being on hold for at least 10 minutes when you call.

Worst place to stay

I have been coming to FL for the past 10 years and this has been the worst place I stayed! Never again… management is terrible!!! Washer didn’t work, called multiple times and they never came to fix it! Everything is broken, freezer did not work, handle in main door and blinds were broken. Bad smell on washer they never came to clean the pool! Had to pay for pool to be hot it took them 2 days to turn it on!

Spring Break!

We traveled to Champion's Gate for Spring Break March 2021. We enjoyed the amenities that come with the house, such as the outdoor pool and the Oasis pools. slides, and lazy river! The Oasis was a daily part of our visit--the kiddos enjoyed the slide, splash area and the adults enjoyed the lazy river. We enjoyed our house as well, however, open arrival it was not ready and we had to wait an extra hour. Once we finally got in the house, the cleaning was "sub par." You can tell the cleaners only hit the notifiable areas. Under furniture, looked like it hadn't been swept in a really long time. The door handle on the freezer was broken before arrival, and every time that we opened the freezer one side would fall off. The inside seal of the freezer was also broken. When it was opened the seal would pop out. The door handle to the back area also fell off during our stay (you could tell it had been broken and glued). The furniture in the living area needed replaced--when you sat down, you sank. The kitchen is not well stocked. All the plates and cups are glass, there were no dish towels or hot pads and the pots, pans, and bakeware were the bare minimum. Overall we had a great time, however, with a few upgrades and additions this would have been a great stay!

Cold hot tub! Beautiful house!

It should say somewhere during booking that in order for the “hot tub” to be heated you have to pay the extra fee to heat the pool. We added the heat and 2 days later it was kind of warm and the hot tub never got hot. So it turned out to be a waste of money. There was 2 strips of the patio blinds missing, minor dings throughout the house and the wall by the stools was dirty needed to be cleaned or painted other than that we loved the house and really enjoyed our stay we’ll be back to champions gate the area was beautiful!

Great place

Overall it was a great place, add listed as having 4 kings beds but there was only 2. Pool heat didn’t work properly and we had to call management.

Awesome Stay

Over the years I have rented my houses in the Champion Gate Resort. This house by far is the best. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone. The theater room, jacuzzi and pool is where the family spent of most of time in the evenings after a long day at Disney World. This was so relaxing. There is no need to travel outside of the Champions Gates Resort. This place has everything from grocery stores, McDonald's, Wendy's, a pharmacy and plenty of other restaurants just to name a few. The only thing I would suggest as an improvement is to possibly compile an information book to share information such as the local hospital or urgent care clinics and/or other important information that could be beneficial to renters that does not know the area. Again we really enjoyed our stay! My family and I will returning again. Thank you, Dorene Jean

Communication??

Check in time was 4:00pm, attempted to check-n at 20 minutes early and were told to come back at 4:00. Returned at 4:00 and waited in line for 45 minutes to check-in. After the third day the door code did not work, called the 800 number listed, waited on hold for 5 minutes and was prompted to leave a message. An hour and 1/2 still no return call, left another message and NEVER got a call back. Thank goodness there was a locked key box that we were able to get into. House was spotless clean but routine maintenance was not upkept. A five bath house and in every bath the toilet paper holder was either off the wall or hanging on with one screw. numerous plaster repairs where it had been previously replaced. Pool table was missing two of the pockets causing the balls to fall to the floor. Only one question stick had a tip. The layout of the house was as described and suited our needs well. Upon arrival the latch to the pool fence was broken and we had three children under the age of four, I called maintenance and they responded within the hour and repaired the latch.

Great property, but be ware of property managers

This is a great property, exactly as described but the owners need to find a better property management company. Their communication is poor at best. Read some of the Yelp reviews on this company. I gave the property a 4 stars because our only issues were related to the management of the home. There are some other trivial issues like only one towel and bath cloth per person (sucks when you need one to swim), NO household amenities (you’ll need to make a Grocery run day 1), moldy pool furniture, a faulty front door lock, etc. All things we could live with. The biggest problem is not being able to reach a live person after you arrive. Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone through the 1-800 number for Executive Villas. You will be communicating via email, and it could take more than 24 hours to receive a response. On a short vacation, time is of the essence. For example, we reported an issue with ants, and someone come by after I threatened to cancel the charges, but the ants returned before we left. This is my 4th year traveling to the area booking through HomeAway, but I will not be staying at any more properties managed by Executive Villas.
