Acerca de este alojamiento
Charming Upper Solva Cottage by Beaches & Harbour
Nestled in Upper Solva along the breathtaking Pembrokeshire Coast Path, Tirmynydd by Salt & City Stays is a character-filled 18th-century home perfect for family and friends. Relax by the stone hearth, enjoy the sunny enclosed garden or cook in the well-equipped kitchen. A short stroll leads to the picturesque Solva harbour and quayside, ideal for swimming, kayaking, crabbing or jumping in. Dog-friendly, fully equipped and with parking, it’s the perfect base for year-round coastal adventures.
Spacious and cosy, Tirmynydd is a welcoming home on the stunning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, just minutes from St Davids and some of Wales’ most beautiful beaches. Set in the peaceful heart of Upper Solva within the Pembrokeshire National Park, this late 1700s home is full of character, featuring exposed beams, deep-set windows perfect for curling up with a book, and a traditional Welsh stone hearth to gather around after a day’s adventures.
The house comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests (best for 6 adults + 2 children), with two double bedrooms and two twin rooms. The open-plan lounge and dining area is ideal for family time, with a large dining table that seats 8 and plenty of comfortable seating. The well-equipped kitchen with all modern appliances makes self-catering effortless, and a sunny enclosed garden offers a safe space for children and dogs to play or for BBQs under the pergola.
From your door, picturesque paths lead to Solva Harbour, where you can swim, kayak, crab or simply watch the fishermen return with the day’s catch. Enjoy quaint shops, galleries, and pubs within walking distance, or venture further to St Davids, Whitesands Bay or Newgale Beach. Dog-friendly (2 max, 1 free and £35 per booking for the second) and filled with thoughtful touches, Tirmynydd is a comfortable year-round base for exploring the very best of Pembrokeshire.
Guests have full use of the entire home, including the enclosed garden, living/dining spaces, and private parking. The property is set over two levels and features a self-check-in entry for convenience.
Alistair and Sandy are available throughout your stay. Our small, dedicated team at Salt & City Stays will ensure all your needs are met up to the point of check-in. From answering enquiries to providing recommendations, we are here to assist. You may hear from any of us leading up to your stay.
