Original beams and character features give a classic Yorkshire feel with modern comforts. Enjoy the cosy lounge with smart TV and Netflix, open‑plan kitchen diner with coffee machine, hotel‑quality beds and linen, family bathroom with shower over bath, private entrance, seating area and dedicated parking for 2–3 cars.

The Old Shuttleworks is situated in the beautiful West Yorkshire Village of Oakworth; surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery, it is a haven for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
Just half a mile from the famous Oakworth Station on The Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway Line, where much of the classic film The Railway Children was filmed. Oakworth offers a unique blend of rural tranquility and cultural heritage. This walkers paradise offers miles of public footpaths, the most famous of which is the Brontë Way, taking visitors over the Brontë Bridge and out onto the bleak moorland to Top Withins. Stunning scenery surrounds this traditional West Yorkshire village with the bleak but beautiful moors, that provided the inspiration behind much of the Brontë Sisters writing.
A quick 5-minute drive or a leisurely 25-minute stroll will take you along the riverbank to Haworth and it's renowned cobbled Main Street, there are an abundance of coffee houses and cafes, traditional pubs and numerous restaurants and bars where you can sit and watch the world go by. You can enjoy a pint of locally brewed ale or why not treat yourself to a cream tea? Haworth has a year round events programme, from the 1940’s themed weekend in May to it's 1960’s themed weekend in June. Hawortheen is on at the end of October and with Steampunk and the switching on of the Christmas lights in November, you really are spoilt for choice all year round! And lets not forget Haworth’s Magical Victorian Christmas, which will definitely get you into the Christmas spirit with events including Scroggling the Holly and the Torchlight Procession. With a firm family treat being the Santa Special at The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
The market towns of Skipton, Pateley Bridge, Otley and Ilkley are also within a short drive and a little further afield is the spa town of Harrogate, home to the famous Bettys Café and Tea Rooms.

Inside, the warm and inviting living room has two comfy leather sofas, a feature fireplace and a smart TV with Netflix included, so you can relax after a day out walking or sightseeing.
The newly fitted open‑plan kitchen diner is fully equipped for self‑catering, with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge‑freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, pots, pans and utensils. There’s also a coffee machine with a selection of pods for your morning coffee.
Upstairs, the three well‑appointed bedrooms all have hotel‑quality mattresses and stylish storage. The top floor has the master bedroom with a king‑size bed and built‑in wardrobes, plus a spacious single bedroom. On the middle floor you’ll find a comfortable double bedroom and the family bathroom, which has a corner bath with shower over.
Outside, the cottage has its own private entrance and a small stone‑walled frontage with a bench, perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. There is a designated parking area for approximately 2–3 cars (depending on size).
