The home, in theory, should be great, but there are quite a few flaws. It does serve its purpose and the location is convenient. Check in was easy and it was stocked with some necessities. But for the price I wouldn’t recommend this rental. There aren’t enough bath towels for the number of adults/bedrooms so we had to go get our own. There were no linens for the pull-out couch so we were forced to use towels as blankets for the first night before we had the chance to get our own linens. Be prepared to bring your own trash bags and paper towels, but surprisingly there was plenty of toilet paper. The gate access to the pool from the garage breezeway is broken, so there’s no way to lock small children out of the pool area, which was a safety concern for us. The home appeared clean at first but within a few hours our feet were all black from walking around inside; it clearly hadn’t been mopped in some time. The grassy back yard in the photos is no longer grassy and mostly dirt and mud. Like many others have said, the pool is impossible to keep clean but the water was nice after we put in the work to clean it out. It’s .6 miles away from the nearest beach access, which may be walkable for some depending on how much stuff you typically haul to the beach. The outdoor areas were convenient to have, but not kept up (broken and dirty), however still able to be used. Overall it worked, but it wasn’t worth the price.
