Acerca de este alojamiento
Pizzo Castellaro - Dos Habitaciones Villa, Capacidad 4
A stunningly positioned, cleverly designed villa with an amazing panoramic pool.
Pizzo Castellaro sits atop its very own hill surveying vast tracts of the Tyrrhenian Sea, Sicily's north coast and the Aeolian Islands. Whether you are relaxing in the stylish living areas, reposing in the master bedroom, dining on the spacious terraces or splashing around in the inviting pool, the views are always there!
Inside: passing through the front door one enters a spacious and stylish open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with floor-length picture windows that bring the amazing views inside and provide access to the panoramic terraces and gardens. The well-equipped, practical kitchen is designed for serving both the indoor and the shady al fresco dining areas, while the sofas are arranged to take full advantage of the view.
A double bedroom with en-suite shower room is on the same floor, separated from the living areas by a sliding wall. Stairs lead from the living area to the lower floor, which is home to a double-twin bedroom with private panoramic terrace and en-suite shower room.
Outside: the house is set in a large rocky garden on the crest of a hill and has no other houses near it. A large shaded panoramic terrace looking out to sea is accessed from the living area and kitchen and furnished for lounging and dining. Both bedrooms have a private sea-view terrace and there are many other spots around the grounds from which you can admire one of the furthest-reaching panoramas of any of our villas.
The icing on the cake is the perfectly situated circular pool, which is just a short walk from the house down a path that weaves through the Mediterranean gardens. Equipped with a shady pergola, the pool area is where you may well spend most of your time.
The villa sits on its own hill about 200m above sea level. The A20 motorway runs below and may be audible from the pool area.
Due to the nature of the property including terraces low walls and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.
You may also wish to know that the pool has a single depth of 1.5m
Parts of the route to this property include some quite steep twists and turns and narrow stretches of road, and the turn-off for Pizzo Castellaro is on quite a tight bend. The access road is also a little rough. For these reasons, we recommend guests rent smaller cars rather than people carriers or mini-vans. For more detailed information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Pizzo Castellaro overlooks the sea on the northern flank of one of the most unspoilt parts of the Sicilian countryside, the Nebrodi Mountains. In this area you will find charming, untouched villages with wonderful views and authentic shops and trattorie not to mention some fabulous walking country. The nearest town to the house is Acquedolci which offers a selection of authentic shops and restaurants and the nearest beach. Further afield, Cefalu' is a short drive along the motorway one way, and Capo d'Orlando the other, both of which have long sandy beaches.
Arrival details will be confirmed by The Thinking Traveller after your villa is confirmed.
The Thinking Traveller can organise transfers and car hire and an agent will be in touch with you once your villa is confirmed.
