Escape to the heart of Italy! This is an authentic Tuscan apartment, in a traditionally built country house. On the first floor (up a flight of 15 stairs), this charming apartment makes an ideal base for friends or family who want to relax in unspoiled countryside and explore the surrounding sights.

Set in extensive, well-kept grounds, with a shared swimming pool, this sensitively converted apartment can sleep up to 6 people. The open-plan living area has high, beamed ceilings with terracotta tiles as well as a large, traditional open fireplace.

The spacious living room has an open fireplace, a sofa and two comfortable armchairs. The antique dining table seats 6 people and is next to an attractive kitchen, tastefully decorated with painted wooden cabinets and plenty of counter space. It is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and drip coffee machine.

Outside, the private terrace which is downstairs by the front door, has another dining table, chairs and a large parasol for shade. There is another private area with a parasol and sun loungers where guests can relax.

The large, shared swimming pool has multiple sun-loungers and parasols where guests can relax. The pool has a special hydrotherapy seating area to ease away any tension. There is also a charming, green pergola with tables and seats which all guests can enjoy as well as another area with sun loungers and parasols.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: A charming bedroom, traditionally furnished with a wrought iron double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and an en suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2: This second bedroom on the first floor has 2 single beds, which can be joined. There is a wooden wardrobe and drawers.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Bathrooms
Bathroom 1: A modern tiled bathroom, en suite to the master bedroom, which has a glass fronted shower, basin, bidet and WC.
Bathroom 2: This pretty tiled bathroom consists of a shower, basin, bidet and WC.

Location
The property is wonderfully located to allow guests access to some of the most beautiful spots in Tuscany. Just a 40 minute drive from the hilltop town of San Gimignano, 1 hour and 5 minutes from the center of Florence and 1 hour from Siena, guests will be spoiled for choice as to where to visit during their stay.

There are many local restaurants offering delicious local cuisine and food shopping is easy, with Castelfiorentino a 12 minute drive away. Castelfiorentino’s Saturday market will inspire guests to cook with the best local ingredients, sold directly from the farms. The market is divided into two sections: Home wares and clothing, then food where you can buy everything from meat and cheese to the freshest fruit and vegetables.

For a fashionable shopping experience The Mall Firenze in Leccio (1 hour and 10 minutes drive) offers a tempting range of designer outlet stores. Here you will find Fendi, Etro, Gucci and many more labels at reduced prices.

More active guests will find tennis courts in Castelfiorentino (12 minutes) and a golf course at FootGolf, San Miniato (20 minutes)

Florence’s international airport is just a 40 minute drive from the property and Pisa airport only 45 minutes away by car.
