Hello Zeeland - Tiny House FlipFlop

Summary:

On the Zeeland coast lies an authentic farmhouse dating from 1870 with four charming holiday cottages, right next to the dunes and beach. From the garden, you can hear birds singing and the sea, and enjoy beautiful sunsets. The FlipFlop holiday cottage has been partially renovated and exudes nostalgia with its crooked walls, creaky floors and cosy details. A warm, cosy place full of charm and simplicity – ideal for an unforgettable beach holiday.



The Space:

Holiday home FlipFlop (approx. 40 m²) combines simplicity and atmosphere with modern comfort. On the ground floor, you will find a bright living room with a lounge sofa, smart TV and cosy dining table, adjacent to an open kitchen with a fridge with freezer compartment, 2-burner induction hob and Nespresso machine with milk frother. There is a separate toilet in the hall. Upstairs there are two bedrooms: bedroom #1 with a double bed and a new ensuite bathroom (2023) with shower and washbasin, and bedroom #2 with two single beds. Outside, FlipFlop has a sunny, fully enclosed private garden of approx. 60 m² with a lounge area, picnic table, parasol, hammock and a handy shed. It is a wonderful place to relax, also ideal for children and dogs who can play freely here. The cottage exudes authenticity and has its own character: low doorways (170–180 cm) and a staircase with a low ceiling require some caution. So, bend down ;). It is precisely these details that make FlipFlop a charming, cosy place where you can step back in time. Smoking and e-smoking (vaping) are not permitted in the cottages, gardens or on the grounds.



In the yard, you will find a cosy communal garden with colourful flowers, hammocks and a picnic table. For children, there are natural play areas such as a water course and stepping stones, and there is a small animal pasture with rabbits and chickens. Around the fire pit, you can enjoy a campfire together and roast bread rolls or marshmallows. In the herb garden, you can pick your own herbs and, depending on the season, you can get fresh vegetables, fruit and eggs from our vegetable garden. We also have a beautiful picking garden full of flowers: feel free to put together your own bouquet, while our four friendly Ouessant sheep keep you company from the meadow.
