The ideal mountain base for an action-packed holiday! Appartamento Azzurri d’Italia is on the 2nd floor (with lift) of an attractive chalet in central Sestriere. The apartment can sleep up to 5 people and would suit a family or friends who want to explore this beautiful part of the Italian Alps, at any time of year.
This contemporary, open-plan apartment, with colourful furnishings, consists of an open plan living space, which is full of light, thanks to the large French windows, which lead out to the private balcony. The apartment looks over Sestiere sports club to the slopes and mountains beyond, so it is in a quiet location. The sitting area is furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchair, plus a flat-screen TV. The dining table includes banquette seating and is next to the open kitchen. The attractive, rustic-style kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and fridge/freezer.

In the winter months, the slopes suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. The resort also offers cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing.
Summer visitors can go hiking through forests and alpine meadows. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming. The area also hosts many festivals and events for all ages, including environmental initiatives and cultural evenings.
There are many great restaurants and bars in Sestriere, which will suit all tastes and budgets in the area. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities.
Turin airport is a 1-hour and 30-minute drive from the apartment.
