About this property
2 Bed in Low Row (oc-ds059)
Take in the mighty Swaledale landscapes when relaxing in your very own Yorkshire holiday cottage, just 15 miles outside of Richmond. Teeming with traditional charm, this delightful property presents a wonderful base for three guests to stay and explore the epic countryside of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Equipped with a wood burner for winter stays and a summer house for those warm-weather getaways, you’ll find something appealing at this holiday home all year round. Discover endless waymarked walking routes surrounding the accommodation, always stopping off at the country pub less than 200 metres away on your journey home.
This Grade II listed stone cottage has been lovingly updated to feature all its best traditional features whilst offering an up-to-date place to stay. Admire countryside views from the delectable lounge/diner, a cosy space with plenty of soft seating, a wood burner, a TV/DVD, and a Bluetooth speaker for nights filled with entertainment. Having enjoyed a delicious meal here, step out and find the summerhouse with a bistro set for your daily sundowner. Meals can, of course, be prepared in the kitchen on the ground floor. A winding staircase leads up to two bedrooms and a family bathroom with incredible views. The larger of the two bedrooms is an appealing king-size with its own TV.
With the River Swale running past and plenty of villages accessible nearby, you’re welcome to simply lace up your walking boots and discover the surrounding area’s beauty on foot. Keen cyclists will also love admiring the nearby beauty spots of Buttertubs Pass (8.5 miles), Cotters Force waterfall (14 miles) or the Great Shunner Fell (10 miles). For the chance to embark on a much longer walking route, find the nearby cross-section of the Pennine Way (6 miles) and embark on a scenic leg of this immense 268-mile route.
