Alpes H - Beautiful large 4 bedroom ensuite penthouse for 8/9, centre village
Apartment H is an excellent choice of apartment for 4 couples or 2 families. It is a spacious 4-bedroomed penthouse apartment spread out over 2 floors, comprising 105 m². The location is superb – right in the village centre, opposite Morzine church. A lift takes you up to the entrance of apartment H at 2nd floor level. There is an open-plan lounge / dining room featuring a curved built-in fireplace with a sliding glass front, and cream leather furniture in which to relax and unwind after a hard day on the mountain! The streamlined kitchen area has excellent facilities and lovely dark granite work surfaces. Beautifully finished and decorated, the apartment is supplied with pure white cotton bedlinen and matching towels.
The Master bedroom has a king size bed, plasma screen TV / DVD with its own Freesat decoder, ensuite bathroom with bath, overhead shower and WC. Bedroom 2 is a double with an exterior shower room and WC. A flight of stairs integrated into the beams above the dining table leads up to the top floor, which is built into the eaves of the building and features all original beams and wood. Bedroom 3 is very spacious and has 3 single beds, and an ensuite shower and WC. Bedroom 4, the smallest of the bedrooms, has a double bed, and ensuite shower and WC. All bathrooms have heated towel rails, and both floors have underfloor electric heating.
We also manage Apartment D on the entrance floor level - 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, sleeps 4-5.

Parking space for 1 car at the front
During the peak winter season we generally only take 7 night bookings from Saturday - Saturday, but in low season it may be possible to stay for shorter stays - send a message and we'll get back to you quickly.
The location is superb – right in the town centre, opposite Morzine church, next to the Dranse river and just a stone’s throw from the supermarket, boulangerie, bars and restaurants. In the summer it's a 5-minute walk to the superb outdoor swimming pool complex, which is covered in the Multipass system (see below.) It’s 6 minutes walk up the vibrant Rue du Bourg to Pleney, but you can also hop on the “D” bus which runs in a loop round the town centre and stops by the church. You can also walk up the little back lane "Chemin de la Vieille Crusaz" to get to the Bouchet draglift, for quicker access on skis to the Pleney telecabine.
Please note!! this apartment is NOT suitable for mountain bikers or road bikers, as there is no storage for bikes, and they are absolutely not permitted to be brought inside the building or on the balcony. We can only take bookings from biking groups if you commit to keep your bikes at a hire shop or in your own vehicles. Please note! there's only one parking space included for this apartment. Any additional cars usually have to be parked further away in the Place du Marche, or in the underground car park close by, at car owners' expense.
WHAT'S INCLUDED: Winter ski season (Dec 14 - April 22): bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included. The Rest of the year: (April 22 - Dec 14): bedlinen and towels are included. End of stay cleaning is payable locally and costs €100.
IMPORTANT: DAMAGE DEPOSIT. We take a €300 Damage Deposit prior to your arrival. This can be paid via credit / debit card or bank transfer (Revolut preferred). We refund this deposit within 3 days of your departure. It is also possible to pay by French cheque. We will hold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to properly check the property.
We're available by email or phone from the moment you book, and we can give you information on all the resort facilities and services. I (Rachel) will be the person who checks you in on arrival and will probably be the one that checks you out too - I live 10 mins down the road inEssert Romand. We've been running Mountain Highs for 30 years now so we've amassed a wealth of knowledge about Morzine, the locals and the wider area!

Geneva Airport transfers: We operate our own airport transfer service in our licensed taxi minibus, which seats max 8 passengers in comfort with plenty of luggage space (VW Caravelle 4 x 4 long wheel base). We can offer shared transfers or private transfers, always door-to-door (unlike some transfer services who will drop you at the bus station!) – contact us for a competitive quote (Prices range from €95 per person return based on 4 travelling together, down to €66pp return for 8 travelling together) / €530 for a private transfer.
Lift pass purchase (skiing or biking): We are able to arrange your lift passes in advance of your stay, so that they’re ready on your arrival at the apartment. We can take payment for these by credit card or bank transfer in advance, or cash on arrival in resort. We offer lower rates on area (Portes du Soleil) and local (Morzine-Les Gets) passes than you can buy in resort. For rates for your chosen stay, contact us.
Help with arranging child care or babysitting: we have contacts with the in-resort childcare companies and can make the initial enquiries for you. For ad-hoc babysitting we have a list of trusted contacts and can put you in touch with them after you have booked.
Start-up grocery shopping: for those arriving too late to be able to buy supplies on your first day, or if you’re arriving by airport transfer, if you contact us with your shopping list with 2 days’ advance notice, we can purchase and deliver your first days’ groceries for you, with a small charge of €20.
Full or part-catered service: we work with several highly recommended freelance caterers who can provide a combination of breakfasts, afternoon tea, daily cleaning, children's suppers and adults 3 or 4 course dinner with or without wine included, and also a dinner delivery service.
