My friend and I stayed here with the intention of experiencing Ireland outside of the city and it greatly exceeded expectations. The house was open and comfortable without losing it's farmhouse charm. What I didn't expect was how many truly nice experiences were nearby. Our focus was a home base while we did the Ring of Kerry and a bit of country exploration but it is oh so much more of that. The nearby town of Kenmare has incredible food and ample shopping. If you've got a family there is also an Aldi in town as well.Overall a great experience with a communicative host and a comfortable property. Great family home and if I make it back to Ireland with my family it's going to be the first property I check.
This was an absolutely beautiful stay! The scenary was breathtaking. It is a perfect location if you are wanting to do the tourist attractions in this part of the country but want the privacy of a country home. Lorena was a great hostess. She is very responsive to messages and in communicating instructions and locatioms of items within the home. I rented from City Break in the city and i, hands down, prefer the individual renters who are more personable and responsive.I am from a warmer climate so the house was a bit chilly. But the warm comforters make for a wonderful sleep. There is a washer but you will have to hang dry the clothes so be sure to wash a few days before you need to leave. I would absolutely rent this place again given the opportunity.
Beautiful view, quiet and peaceful location. Very large and spacious house. Felt right at home. Enjoyed board games and the wood burning stove for chilly evenings. Host was responsive & helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay!
