This well equipped village gite is perfect for couples—and four legged friends! The lower level welcomes you with a practical hallway, a large sunny bedroom with a comfy super king bed. A modern bathroom with walk-in shower, underfloor heating, and heated towel rail completes this level.

Upstairs, relax on the sofa while enjoying village and countryside views from the kitchen dining area. A small well equipped kitchen, with oak worktop, hob, tabletop oven, and filter coffee machine.

Step through patio doors to a fully enclosed, private garden framed by lavender and wisteria—ideal for relaxing, dining al fresco, or letting your pet roam safely. This lovely little space is shaded by a large parasol.

Badefols-d’Ans is a small, rural village set in the heart of the Dordogne countryside and is best reached by car. The nearest major airport is Brive–Vallée de la Dordogne (Brive-la-Gaillarde), approximately 45 minutes’ drive away. Other convenient airports include Limoges (around 1 hour 15 minutes), Bergerac (around 1 hour 30 minutes), Bordeaux (around 2 hours 30 minutes) and Toulouse (around 3 hours).

As with much of rural Dordogne, car hire is essential, as there is no direct public transport serving Badefols-d’Ans. Having a car also allows you to explore the surrounding villages, markets, countryside and historic sites at your own pace.

For guests driving from the UK, the journey from Calais takes approximately 8–9 hours, depending on traffic and route, making it a manageable and scenic drive through France.
