Willow Pod is a cosy and fuss-free glamping retreat for four, nestled in the tranquil countryside of North Shropshire. Although the property is advertised for two guests, it can comfortably accommodate up to four, making it suitable for couples, friends, or small families.. All on the Ground Floor:

External shower room: With shower cubicles, heated towel rail and toilets (shared with other properties on-site). Enclosed grounds with Willow having it’s own picnic table. Hot tub for 4 (private). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: This property has a security deposit of £50.. Willow Glamping Pod is a peaceful wooden pod, perfect for a rural break with lovely countryside views and the bonus of a private hot tub, great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Like the other pods at Castle Farm, Willow offers a simple, cosy glamping experience that’s ideal for a budget-friendly getaway.

Please note: Willow Pod doesn’t have its own bathroom. Guests can use the shared shower block just a 1-minute walk away, which also includes a shared outdoor sink area great for BBQ prep and a sunroom for unwinding. Wi-Fi is available in the pod and throughout the site.

Nestled between Ellesmere and Oswestry in North Shropshire, the location is spot on for discovering both England and Wales. Ellesmere (5 miles) is known for its scenic glacial meres and independent shops, while Oswestry (9 miles) offers markets, high street stores, and plenty of places to eat. Closer still, St Martins (2 miles) has a supermarket, café, pub, and electric vehicle charging.

The Welsh border is just a mile away, making this a great base for exploring Llangollen’s canal rides, steam train and walking routes, as well as historic spots like Chirk Castle, Erddig Hall, and Whittington Castle. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the Llangollen Canal, crossing the stunning Chirk and Pontcysyllte aqueducts, the latter a World Heritage Site.

Further afield, day trips to Shrewsbury, Chester, or Ironbridge Gorge are all under an hour away. For family fun, there’s Park Hall Farm, while nearby treats include a local gin distillery, ice cream farm, and water sports at Alderford Lake.

There are five pods on site, and guests may book multiple pods together. When booked as a group, the site can accommodate up to 18 guests, ideal for relaxed gatherings.

Whether you’re after peaceful views or active days out, Willow Pod offers a comfortable and down-to-earth base to enjoy this beautiful part of the Shropshire–Wales border.
