Welcome to Nowhere Els, a charming and modernly furnished property
located in the small seaside village of Rooi-Els. Surrounded by
pristine beaches and within easy reach of the Kogelberg Biosphere
Reserve, this coastal retreat is perfect for travellers seeking a
peaceful getaway that combines relaxation with adventure.
Step inside to discover the open-plan kitchen and dining area, with
large sliding glass doors that frame spectacular landscape views,
creating a welcoming atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen features a
refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, airfryer, and stove for
preparing delicious meals. Adjacent to the kitchen, a rustic wooden
dining table with bench seating provides an ideal spot to enjoy morning
coffee while admiring the breathtaking coastal scenery.
The living room is fitted with low-profile modular couches and soft
cushions, making it a perfect space to unwind after a day of
sightseeing or curl up with a book. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the
room with natural light, creating an inviting setting for guests who
want to connect with nature without stepping outside.
The property consists of two bedrooms in the main house and one bedroom
in the detached cottage. The first bedroom in the main house is
thoughtfully furnished with a queen-size bed, wooden side tables, and
large windows overlooking peaceful views. The second bedroom in the
main house also features a queen-size bed and sliding doors opening
onto a balcony with large white beanbag chairs, ideal for taking in the
fresh coastal breeze. The third bedroom, located in a charming detached
cottage, also has a queen-size bed and is reached via a gravel path.
Please note that the path is not lit.
The property features three en-suite bathrooms, each connected to the
bedrooms to make the most of the stunning views. Two of the bathrooms
also include a bathtub positioned near the bed, perfect for relaxing
while soaking in the scenery. With a modern, open-plan design, the
bathrooms feel spacious and airy while still offering privacy. Fresh
linen and towels are provided for your comfort.
Additional amenities include secure parking, a laundry room, fireplace,
and Wi-Fi throughout the property. The location is renowned for its
mountain and ocean views, endemic fynbos, abundant wildlife, and easy
access to recreational activities such as bird watching, mountain
biking, and beach strolls.
Nowhere Els offers guests a memorable coastal experience, perfect for
those looking to immerse themselves in a peaceful seaside environment
while enjoying modern comforts and stunning natural surroundings.
Baboons are known to visit the area frequently. Guests are advised to take precautions and generally be mindful when staying in a cottage close to nature.
For security and safety purposes, guests are required to provide full names, identification, details of any children travelling, vehicle registrations, and estimated arrival times prior to check-in. This information will be treated confidentially, and failure to submit it on time may result in delayed or denied check-in.
All our properties are strictly non-smoking, and tenants accept full liability for all minors and visitors. Pets, parties, and events are not permitted.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a complimentary mid-stay clean, including fresh linen, will be provided. Additional cleaning services can be arranged upon request with a minimum of 24 hours' notice and will incur an extra charge.
A standard key and breakage deposit is payable before check-in. This amount depends on the standard of the establishment and may be changed at the owner’s/management’s discretion.
Please be advised that, to promote a sustainable and comfortable experience for all our guests, electricity usage is governed by a fair use policy that permits a reasonable amount of daily consumption. In the rare event of unusually high usage, a reimbursement may be requested.
A late check-in fee of R250 applies for arrivals between 21:00 and 00:00, payable in cash directly to the property host upon arrival. For arrivals after 00:00, a fee of R350 will apply.
The Property Manager will arrange a check-in time with guests to meet at the property, which is situated at 7 River View Street, Rooi-Els, 7196.
