Location
The home is in the Ore and Clive Vale area of Hastings, a characterful neighbourhood set above the main town with its own community feel and everyday amenities close by. You will find independent cafés, a supermarket, a fish and chip shop, and bakeries nearby, along with regular bus routes connecting you to the seafront and the town centre.
Hastings has plenty to explore, from the historic Old Town and its fishing quarter (with net huts, independent restaurants, galleries and a distinctive coastal atmosphere) to Hastings Contemporary on The Stade beside the famous beach-launched fishing fleet. The East and West Hill funicular lifts make it easy to reach clifftop viewpoints, Hastings Castle and Smugglers’ Adventure, while Hastings Country Park offers rewarding coastal walks with sea views. For a slower afternoon, Alexandra Park provides a spacious Victorian green retreat.
Getting around
• Ore railway station: approximately 12–15 minutes on foot
• Hastings town centre and main railway station: approximately 9 minutes by bus (bus 321, around every 10 minutes from the Ore area) or about 10 minutes by car
• Hastings Old Town and seafront: approximately 10–15 minutes by car or bus
• London Charing Cross: direct train from Hastings station, approximately 1 hour 44 minutes (Southeastern service)
• Bodiam Castle (National Trust): approximately 25–26 minutes by car (around 13 miles); bus 349 from Hastings station also serves the route Monday to Saturday

Booking policy
Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file.
If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled.
Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled.
Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival.
Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival.
No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
