I was looking for something away from busy environment to relax, enjoy peace and quiet. Me and my partner had amazing time at Challoners, ideal location to unwind and relax in peaceful surroundings. My partner wish to come back for a little longer stay.

A wonderful relaxing haven! The garden which is dog safe is such a peaceful spot with lots of seating and relaxing areas. The two huts are beautifully designed and decorated with all you need to lock yourselves away from the world with some thoughtful environmentally friendly luxuries. Jim Bev and Jordan made us feel very welcome and we knew we could text with any problems. Jim gave a thorough and helpful welcome tour explaining everything so clearly. We enjoyed walking to the two local pubs for dinner and getting to know the local area. Our dog loved the walk in the neighbouring woods. We can’t wait to return.

Probably the most relaxing accommodation set-up and location we've ever had the pleasure of staying

Probably the most relaxing accommodation set-up and location we've ever had the pleasure of staying in! 100% private, fully enclosed garden (perfect for our potential escapee dog), easy-to-light fire, ample outside seating areas in a very pretty garden provided the perfect two-day, get-away-from-it-all mini-holiday. Before our stay we were wondering how well the separate 'pods' would work, and I am happy to say that it's a genius idea because it means the bedroom/bath zone remains clean, tidy and romantic, while the kitchen/lounge area can be a bit more 'lived-in' with no guilt or looking at the washing up after dinner. Having taken pre-made salads and other bits from our local farm shop with us, we did absolutely nothing for two days - (apart from a quick pop to the shop up the road, a collecting a curry from the award-winning restaurant 5mins away) - which was just what we needed! Had we been staying longer we would have definitely got out and about to mooch around the local area and visit a few touristy spots. Jim, our host, was extremely welcoming and told us everything we needed to know before leaving us be for the entire 48hrs - there was also no stress to vacate too early on the Sunday which was much-appreciated.Next time!
