We often have young buzzards in the woods. If you are lucky, you may see them either feeding from the woodland floor or flying between the trees. There are also rabbits and other woodland creatures. The woodland is enclosed all around with stock-proof wire fencing. It should be safe for your pooch to be let off the lead unless you know they are likely to jump out! From time to time there may well be stock in the surrounding fields. For your safety, please be aware that there are multiple ‘hazards’ to be found in this woodland. Tree stumps, hidden dips and rabbit holes, low branches, fallen debris etc. Guests are welcome to enjoy walking in these woods, but at their own risk! Please bag all dog waste and place in the bin provided by the gates.
