Bowes is situated within beautiful Teesdale, in County Durham. The village boasts a pub and has a long history dating back to the Romans. Nearby is the market town of Barnard Castle and within easy reach are the Bowes Museum, Pennine and Teesdale Ways, the River Tees and the waterfalls at High Force.
