Outside there is a front lawn and rear lawned garden with furniture as well as off-road parking for four cars. Within 2.2 miles there is a shop and 0.5 miles a pub. One well-behaved dog welcome. Shepton Mallet, a town rich in history, is a charming blend of the old and the new, with its beautiful ancient buildings and weekly market, as well as its many contemporary restaurants and stores. Between the smaller towns of Evercreech and Doulting, in the Mendip foothills, you'll find the town of Shepton Mallet. It's a stunning area filled with interesting sights and fun things to do for people of all ages. One of the largest agricultural exhibitions in Britain takes place at the Royal Bath and West Showground in Shepton Mallet in May/June, and the venue hosts a wide variety of other events throughout the year. Wells, Glastonbury, and Bath are all within a half-hour drive, and there are several family-friendly activities, such as Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, and the East Somerset Railway, within the same distance. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better holiday location, especially since the delicious local cider is the perfect beverage to unwind with after a day of touring this area of Somerset.
