The living areas in this cottage consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and a Smart TV. There is a double bedroom serviced by an en-suite shower room. Outside there is a courtyard with gravelled area with seating, along with off-road parking for one car. Within 2.8 miles, you will find a shop, and within 7.2 miles, a pub. Please note, this property welcomes three well-behaved dogs, but is non-smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rent. Highchair, travel cot and stairgate available on request. Bring your loved ones for a refreshing escape to Hen Blaid. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. Note: Property is set on a working farm, with the owner’s also living on-site. Note: Internal adjoining doors to neighbouring property will be locked unless cottages are booked together.

This pleasant village lies in the beautiful Tanat Valley at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains, only 4 miles from one of the Seven Wonders of Wales - the magnificent Pistyll Rhaeadr (240 ft high waterfall). Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant was the location for the successful film, The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain, and more recently the film Nativity 2 starring David Tennant. The village boasts two general stores, a newsagent, a Post Office, a butchers, three pubs, a café, a fish and chip shop, and an Indian takeaway. It is surrounded by stunning countryside, providing walking trails for all abilities including the Berwyn Ridge Walk and a trail to the summit of the waterfall. Discover Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, the National Trust Powis and Chirk Castles, medieval Shrewsbury and Chester and the wonderful Snowdonia National Park.
