This Guest House sits on 6 acres of beautiful lawns that stretch out to the Privately owned Bobber Lake and 300 feet of the Yakima River. This stretch of the Yakima River is rarely fished as access is restricted due to being privately owned! Great wade fishing around the 2 islands that are across the river from my property! You can also launch small pontoon boats from my shoreline but it can be a bit tricky, because it is rocky. Great fly fishing right out your huge garage door! The main house at Seventh Heaven Ranch is apx. 150 feet away from the guest house but when staying in the guest house you will barely notice the main house as all the windows look out over the lawns towards Bobber Lake and the Yakima River. You must however love dogs as there are to very friendly bigger Dogs...Cricket and Brady! Cricket is a big black Flat Coated Retriver and the smaller muffin is a liver and white English Springer who will check in with you and if you are in the mood you can throw a ball for Cricket. Just know that they have the run of the property just as you do! The Guest house is very comfy and cozy and just perfect for 1 or 2 people wanting a quick getaway for fishing or maybe an event at Central Washington University which is located just 12 minutes away in Ellensburg. Cloud Nine has gorgeous views of the property. Relax on the leather sofa or put your feet up in the recliner and read a good book or lay in the sun out by the lake and go for a swim in the summer months. With great southern exposure you can open the glass garage door anytime of the year to invite the outdoors in and the sunshine! When the sun is shining even in the middle of winter you will enjoy having the door open and still remain warm with how the Guest House is situated for maximum Sun Exposure. There is a queen size bed in the sleeping loft accessed by a set of steps similar to those on a yacht. These steps are easy for anyone in reasonable shape and agility. Also the leather couch in the living room is an Italian sleeping sofa and pulls out easily from the wall and then flattens completely into a very comfortable bed. Top notch linens on the bed in the loft and for the sleeper sofa. There is a small kitchen with sink, small refrigerator with freezer, Microwave, Convection oven and toaster, hot plate and all the dishes and pots and pans to enjoy a good home cooked meal! Also a bbq outdoor grill for all your outdoor grilling needs! The bathroom has a full size shower with instant on demand hot water and nice fluffy towels. There is a top of the line brand new composting toilet which if you have never used one is no different then a regular toilet with toilet paper and all! There are no odors as there is a fan in the unit that vents any odors directly outside! Up until the burn ban goes into effect you can enjoy the outdoor fire pit under the bright stars! Close into Ellensburg but far enough out (just 8 miles) to still be in the country! You will be glad you chose the Cloud Nine Guest House! (Just a train passes about 100yds from my property and we get 2 whistle blows as he passes... 4 seconds each toot our of course some days and nights we get no trains at then some times we get 4 or if you are highly noise sensitive it may bother or if you love trains as I do then you will love it!) just sayin’...

Noisy and bees nests
We left exhausted. Tried something new and didn't work out. We were disappointed with the constant noise from I-90 and Hwy 10. The train came by 7 times after approx. 9:30 p.m. but before 5 or 6 a.m. There is a machine or electric bypass of some sort in the bathroom which clicked on about every 15 minutes, lasting 2-3 minutes each time jolting us out of sleep for several hours then resumed making jolting noise at 6:30 a.m. Closed the bathroom door to try to get some sleep, however, due to not having a true air conditioning unit and only fans (albeit one was a cooling fan but was pretty useless), the shed was uncomfortably blazing hot and thus had to leave the bathroom door open as well as the window over the kitchen sink to conduct air flow to cool it down. We left for approx. 3 hours for dinner at Suncadia (wish we had stayed there again!), so that when we returned hopefully the many wasps would be heading back to their respective nests - one directly above the entry of the large roll up door, and the other at the right hand top corner of the shed. Being responsible landlords of multiple property rentals, we always ensure that any wasp nests are promptly removed for the safety of our tenants, particularly when the tenant is allergic to stinging insects, which I am deathly allergic to bees. The $125 cleaning fee is high considering we charged the same for our transient rental unit that was three times the size. Owner appears a bit disorganized. No bathroom sink or mirror. Won't stay at a place with a composting toilet again. The pond and river access was nice as were the benches/tables near the pond. Couch and chair were quality furniture. Nice touch with the blanket and throw pillows.
What a find! Fun little retreat that is packed with a great venue
Charming place surrounded by lots of green open space and wildlife.
Renee is a very responsive host. I would definitely stay again.
Wonderful getaway in a great location
The house was clean and adorable. The property was welcoming and beautifully maintained. A great rental experience overall!
We loved the atmosphere and attention to detail. Renee is a blast. A sweetheart!
The property is well thought out. Plenty to do from fishing to board games; swimming and relaxing. Fun in the sun. You need to spend a night or more here. Renee has two other places and we can’t wait to stay at her properties. Sweet dogs too. Awesome time.
Private and pastoral.
Staying at the cloud 9 was a very pleasant experience for us, we really enjoyed the big yard, pond, and the walk down to the river. Some of the biggest trout we had ever seen were in the pond! Saw a beautiful blue heron. We had a wonderful steak dinner (local grocery store has a fantastic butcher!) out on the deck, made a big breakfast complete with bacon, eggs and hash browns. So, if you enjoy eating a home cooked meal in a quiet atmosphere, there really is everything you need. Luxury linen bedding with cotton sheets. We didn't get to meet the hostess but she responded to every question. Great experience!
We are just 8 minutes out of Ellensburg where there is lots to do All 4 seasons of the year. During the summer there is the Farmers Market every Saturday And at the end of summer the thrilling Ellensburg Rodeo. The Famous Thorp Fruit Market is just minutes away and also the Old Thorp Mill built in he late 1800’s to Mill the local grain for the farmers. Also hiking and road biking are all great right from the property! Tons of back roads or the John Wayne Trail is just up the road also....then you could hike or walk to the Idaho Border or all the way back over Snoqualmie pass. Snowmobiling is great just up on Blewitt Pass about 30 minutes away or the Manashtash ridge area too. The Gorge for concerts is about 40 minutes away.
