A property that meets the highest standards of aesthetics and comfort. Each of the six bedrooms in this historic 19th-century estate—which you are renting here in its entirety—has been meticulously and lovingly renovated. The traditional architectural elements of the original, agricultural manor house have been preserved, while the furnishings reflect a modern, minimalist style. The dominant colors are white, cream, black, and blue. Two bedrooms feature a modern, stylish whirlpool bathtub, positioned directly within the bedroom. Integrated Bose speakers allow you to enjoy your favorite music in high quality. The bathrooms are also architectural highlights with unique features. Naturally, the bedrooms are air-conditioned (heating or cooling, depending on the season).

Three of the bedrooms are directly accessible from the courtyard. The fourth and fifth form a suite with a master bedroom and gallery room, making them ideal for a family with one or two children (please note that the bedroom upstairs has no dedicated door and no air conditioning except for a fan). The sixth, slightly smaller bedroom is accessed via a spiral staircase from the living/sitting room. This room is the only one without a dedicated shower room (only a toilet).

The heart of this antique gem is the courtyard, featuring a large (approx. 5 x 9 m) designer pool in dark blue tones and beautiful citrus trees that provide shade for your lunch break. In the evenings, a carefully planned lighting concept creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. A shaded outdoor terrace offers ample space for al fresco dining, which you can prepare in the well-equipped kitchen (gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, as well as dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils) or on the charcoal grill. A charming, beautifully renovated vaulted hall is also available for your meals if you prefer not to dine outside. Alternatively, you can have your meals prepared for you: several excellent restaurants and a pizzeria are within walking distance.

All indoor spaces and the courtyard are exclusively yours and will not be shared with other guests. Free Wi-Fi, an outdoor shower, and a washing machine are provided.

The property is located in the heart of the small town of San Cassiano, right next to the central piazza. Cafés, a bakery, supermarkets, restaurants, and much more are within easy walking distance. The sea is about a 15-minute drive away you can visit, for example, the port of Castro Marina or the picturesque little sandy beach of Porto Miggiano. Other popular destinations in Salento, such as Maglie, Otranto, Gallipoli, Santa Maria di Leuca, and Lecce, are also easily accessible by car.

Sheets, duvets and towels are not included. If you don't want to bring them with you from home, regardless of the length of your stay, you can rent them for €26 per person.

Final cleaning is not included and costs €220, unless you clean yourselves before departure.

Dogs and pets are welcome, if you inform us in advance! Surcharge: €150 for the 1st one, €75 each for the others. Usually max 1 large or 2 small ones are allowed, but exceptions might be possible upon request.

We will ask you to pay a security deposit of €1200 before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, if there is no damage.

Electricity costs (and thus where applicable AC, hot water, heating etc.) are NOT included in the price and will be charged based on your actual consumption. The price per kWh charged to guests was €0,42 on 03/04/2026, when this text was last updated. Prices may slightly change over time.

By booking this accommodation, you accept that:

We are obliged by law to verify the identity of all our guests. We will therefore ask you to upload copies of your IDs on our (secure) website to verify your identity before handing out the key code for the accommodation. Your personal data is treated in full compliance with EU data protection laws.

Also, we are obliged to sign a rental agreement with our guests (one person per group). This will be done digitally and requires just a few seconds on your side. You can find a template of the rental agreement on our website.

Parties, gatherings, events or loud music are not allowed at this property unless explicitly authorised beforehand by us in writing.

In case the local municipality charges a tourist tax, we will ask you to pay this separately to us and we will transfer it to the local authorities as required by law.

Please note that, like for all houses in Italy, the power allowance of the house is limited and you might not be able to always use all electric appliances simultaneously. No need to worry: most guests don't even notice this limitation.
