Wyreside caravan, ideal family break on fishing park close to Lancaster and Blackpool

Set midway between Morecambe and Blackpool, just 8 miles south of Lancaster and moments from the M6, Wyreside Lakes and Fisheries offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful countryside. Nestled at the foot of the Bowland Fells, it's the perfect place to unwind whether that's enjoying quality time with loved ones, fishing to your heart's content, or heading to the coast, with beaches less than a 30-minute drive away. The site features six well-stocked fishing lakes with carp, mixed coarse fish, pike and catfish, giving anglers of all abilities the chance to enjoy a rewarding catch.

Accommodation on site includes a choice of six cosy pods, ideal for small families, and a static caravan with its own secure garden. There's plenty to keep everyone entertained, from a children's outdoor play area to open spaces perfect for exploring. On weekends and selected school holiday dates, the licensed bar hosts regular entertainment such as live music and themed events. Guests can also make use of the on-site shop and laundrette. Please note, the site is reserved for families and couples; stag and hen parties are not permitted.

Sleeping up to four guests, the static caravan provides a comfortable base for a relaxing break, with easy access to nature trails and on-site facilities. Inside, the open-plan living space includes a lounge with TV and comfortable seating, alongside a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. The caravan offers one double bedroom and one twin, along with a bathroom featuring a shower, washbasin and WC.

Gas, electricity and bed linen are included; guests are asked to bring their own towels. Up to two medium-sized dogs are welcome. There is private parking for one car and a secure garden area with a picnic bench.

Please note, a 200 pound breakage deposit is required on arrival.
