Puffin Cottage Holidays proud presents Smugglers Cove, an apartment hidden away within the village of Amroth; With the beach, restaurants, public houses, shops & even a castle all on its doorstep.


Amroth is a small, peaceful and historic coastal village on the border of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Only 3-miles away from Saundersfoot & 7-miles from Tenby; as well as part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Path route. Amroth’s sand and pebble beach is known for its drowned forest which can only be seen during very low tide revealing tree stumps poking through the sand.


Saundersfoot offers a true beach town vibe, with a pretty harbour, family-friendly beach, as well as lovely local cafes, restaurants and shops; While Tenby has its iconic colourful harbour, medieval town walls, and award-winning beaches you will find a gorgeous blend of culture and sea air. All three villages are connected by the scenic Pembrokeshire Coast National Path, making it easy to explore their beauty on foot while soaking in some of the best views in Wales.

As you step into Smugglers Cove you will find a spacious open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area. A multifunctional room designed to welcome you and create a seamless flow between cooking, dining, and relaxation.


The kitchen features sleek cabinetry with generous worktop surfaces, ample cupboard storage, and integrated appliances that blend effortlessly into the design. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven and hob, fridge & freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and more to prepare holidays meals while family members and friends can relax on the sofa.


Flowing from the kitchen you have a dining table to enjoy your meals at the table.


The living area is designed for comfort and relaxation, with ample room for the corner style sofa with the large TV hung on the wall and a lamp to relax with a book at the end of a day at the beach.


Altogether, the open-plan design creates a harmonious balance between functionality and style, making the room ideal for modern living, entertaining, and day-to-day family life enjoying quiet or social evenings together.


Shower Room


The shower room features a refreshing walk-in shower, toilet, wash hand basin and a mirror that will light up to help you achieve your personal care routine.


Bedroom 1


The spacious twin bedroom is relaxing retreat, featuring two comfortable single beds, a fitted wardrobe, and a bedside table with a soft lamp between the beds. Unwind with a little TV before drifting off to sleep or curl up with a good book in the cosy corner chair.


Bedroom 2


The peaceful main bedroom offers a comfortable double bed with bedside tables and soft lamps on either side, creating a warm and restful atmosphere. An integrated wardrobe with shelves and hanging space provides plenty of room for all your beachwear and evening outfits.


Outside


There is a shared courtyard where you can relax outside on our outdoor chairs with an ice-code beverage, smell the sea air and listen to the village vibes. Please note, no BBQs are allowed.

Smugglers Cove also benefits from an allocated parking space, electric wall radiators throughout, WiFi and thoughtful extras like bed linen, towels, a cot and highchair.


Please be aware that there are 21 steps to get up to & arrive at the front door of Smugglers Cove.


Two medium well-behaved dogs are welcome. If you are bringing your furry friends, you have to check out Pembrokeshire’s dog friendly beaches.


Please note, a refundable damage and good-housekeeping deposit of £100 is required when staying at this property.

Terms and Conditions of Hire.

Bookings of all holiday accommodation whether made by telephone, e-mail, in person, in writing or over the internet are accepted by Puffin Cottage Holidays acting as the agent on behalf of the Owner. The contract to occupy the property is between you and the owner.

By making any booking with us, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and agree to comply with and be bound by them.

These booking terms and conditions include a number of defined terms as follows:

"Booking" means the legally binding reservation for use of the property, with a specified start and end date.
"Contract of Hire" The legally binding contract between the Hirer and the Owner
"Deposit" means a deposit of 20% of the total holiday accommodation cost (which includes any "extras" selected at the time of booking).
"Balance" means the balance of the Total Charges payable by you after payment of the Deposit as set out in paragraph 4.
"Website" means the booking website.
"Lead Hirer" means the person who has booked the accommodation.
"Guest" means you and each person staying in the property with you.
"Owner" means the owner of the Property you book which is the subject of the Contract of Hire. We do not own the properties on our website.
"Agent" means Puffin Cottage Holidays.
"Property" and "Properties" means the holiday property you book or enquire about through us.
"You" means the lead person making a booking through us.
When you make a booking through us you are confirming that you and every Hirer understands, agrees and accepts these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as any breach may result in the Owner (or their representative) refusing to allow you and your guests to enter and stay at the property or requiring you and your guests to leave the property before the end of the holiday period without any compensation or refund.

1. Contract and Booking
We act as agents for the Owner. When you make a Booking through us the holiday let contract in respect of the Property is always between you and the Owner. As Agents we accept no responsibility for an injury or damage caused as a result of the Contract.

Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under 18 years of age.

The Lead Hirer must be one of the Guests staying at the property and shall not part with possession of the property or share it, except with other Guests named on the booking form.

The Properties are not intended to be reserved for the purposes of parties and group bookings, including for stag, hen dos and birthdays, may not be allowed unless explicitly agreed with the Owner. In these circumstances the Owner may impose special requirements (including the possible requirement for, but not limited to, an extra damage deposit payment)

No Bookings are confirmed until the Deposit (or Balance and Deposit if the holiday is less than 8 weeks away) is received and written confirmation of its receipt has been sent.

Once a booking is confirmed it cannot be changed by you, unless agreed by the Owner, or by us on the Owner's behalf. If we or the Owner agree to make requested changes to your booking (for example, amending the date or Hirer) you will be required to pay £25 amendment fee per change.

2. Booking Fees
A booking fee of £24.00 is payable when making a booking. This is included in the displayed price of the holiday.

3. Deposits and Balance Payments
Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full at the time of booking. For a booking made more than 8 weeks before your holiday a deposit of 20% of the total due will be paid when booking to secure the booking. The balance will be paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday. If you make a booking within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday you will be required to pay for the holiday in full at the time of booking to secure the booking. In the event that the balance payment is not received by the required date, Puffin Cottage Holidays reserves the right (on behalf of the Owner) to cancel the booking and will be under no obligation to refund any deposits previously paid.

The booking fee and Deposit are non-refundable unless we are unable to accept the booking on behalf of the Owner, or the Property is unavailable at the time of the holiday

4. Damage Deposits
Some properties may require damage deposits for all bookings made. If this is required, it will be recorded in the Property Description. Any damage deposit will be due along with the final balance payment, 8 weeks prior to your holiday, or, where the booking is made within 8 weeks of your holiday, the damage deposit must be paid in full at the time of booking. The damage deposit may be held by Puffin Cottage Holidays on behalf of the Owner. Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to liaise between the Owner and the lead Hirer, any disputed claims must be settled between the Owner and the lead Hirer and Puffin Cottage Holidays are not liable for any disputed claims.

5. Availability
The Contract of Hire is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities as published will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the property is not available through events outside the Owners control the lead Hirer will be notified as soon as possible. The lead Hirer shall be offered alternative dates or, at the Owners discretion, a refund but will have no further claims against the Owner or Puffin Cottage Holidays. Puffin Cottage Holidays will not be responsible to pay any compensation or expenses as a consequence of a Property not being available in these cases. The booking fee will be non-refundable in these circumstances as we will have carried out our services for this to you at the point of booking.
