The house accommodates up to 6 guests and is perfect for families or smaller groups looking to experience the charm of Bohuslän in a tranquil environment. The accommodation offers two bedrooms with a total of five regular sleeping places, consisting of one double bed and one family bunk bed with an additional sleeping place. The bright rooms, well equipped kitchen and cosy living room with a wood burning stove create a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the year. From the dining area and several of the house’s windows you can enjoy views of the lush garden surrounding the property. Outside, a spacious terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue awaits, perfect for long summer evenings together. A high chair is available for families with small children. The house is also pet friendly and up to two pets are welcome to join your holiday.

Here, you stay with the beautiful Bohuslän nature right on your doorstep while being close to many of the island’s attractions. The Säby Trail, a scenic hiking route, is located just a stone’s throw from the cottage. It takes you through open landscapes, forested areas, and coastal nature reserves. Along the way, you will pass traces of the island’s rich herring-fishing history and enjoy beautiful sea views. The trail leads to the charming stone cottage on Säby Island, a perfect place for a break with views of the archipelago. A visit to Skärhamn, the Nordic Watercolour Museum, Pilane Sculpture Park, and the charming fishing villages of Klädesholmen and Kyrkesund is highly recommended during your stay. For those who enjoy swimming, several beautiful bathing spots can be found within a few kilometres. Choose between family-friendly sandy beaches and refreshing rocky seaside bathing areas. If you appreciate Bohuslän’s classic cliff bathing, you can also take a swim at Säby Kile, approximately 3.6 km from the house. This bathing spot is mainly suited to adults and nature lovers, as it requires a longer walk to reach the water and is less accessible for families with young children. Just 900 metres from the house, you will also find Hoga Food Hall, a popular destination for local food and artisan products. Here, you can buy locally produced ingredients, freshly baked bread, cheese, meat, eggs, honey, and other delicacies from Tjörn and Bohuslän. It is the perfect place to stock up for a picnic or a delightful dinner on the terrace. For those wishing to explore more of Sweden’s west coast, both Stenungsund and Gothenburg are within comfortable reach for day trips offering shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.



Good to know about this accommodation

• A security deposit of SEK 2 500 is automatically reserved on your card upon arrival. The amount is released within one week after departure, provided that the house is left in approved condition after inspection.

• Bed linen and towels can be rented: SEK 190 per person and SEK 60 per person respectively.

• Final cleaning is not included in the price. Guests are responsible for cleaning the house before departure. Cleaning equipment is available in the house.

• Electricity is included in the rent. Charging electric vehicles is not permitted.

• Smoking is prohibited.

• Pets are allowed.
