The hidden haven of Coulderton is just seconds from the property. Spend time beachcombing or watching the amazing sunsets on the sand and shingle. Mix up your days with trips down the coastline towards Braystones Beach (3 miles) and Seascale Cove (7 miles), and don’t forget your towels! Keen walkers will love being just 4 miles from St Bees, the starting point of the famous Coast to Coast route. For a change of scenery, Ennerdale National Forest is 13 miles away and is the gateway to many imposing Lake District fells, such as Great Borne and High Stile, all within 18 miles.

On entering this light-filled property, you will find the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Catch glimpses of the lapping waves as you settle on the sofa and watch the Smart TV in the cosy living space. To the back is the modern kitchen with all the appliances you could need to rustle up group meals, including an air fryer and a dishwasher. Step through to the shower room with a WC and enjoy a long soak before choosing from the two delightfully decorated bedrooms: a double with picturesque sea views and a charming twin room with vistas across the garden. If you’re into stargazing, head up to the converted attic space where a skylight and telescope provide a treat for the eyes, or curl up in a bean bag and read one of the many books provided.

Stepping outside, the garden is enclosed and features a beautiful space to relax with a summer lunch around the table.
