Set out on foot from the front door to explore the Black Mountains, climb the Sugarloaf (4.5 miles) or follow the Beacons Way, which begins in Llanthony village (6.5 miles) and winds its way west for 95 miles through the fantastic Brecon Beacons National Park. Take to two wheels to follow the Black Mountains Cycle Track, an award-winning trail. For amenities, head into the busy market town of Abergavenny (3.5 miles) to stock up on supplies or enjoy a delicious meal out. For a spot of culture, visit nearby Llanthony Priory (6.5 miles) or Raglan Castle (14.5 miles).
