Collect a permit from the office and spend a peaceful day fishing, while taking in views of the loch and trying your luck with salmon, sea trout, and brown trout. When you’re not sitting beside the Loch’s, explore the many scenic walking and cycling routes in the area by following the North West Highland Coastline or by driving over to Camus na Taraidh Beach or Scourie Beach (both within 14 miles). Keen hikers and ramblers are well served too, with the Ben Stack Munro and the Cape Wrath Trail just 3 miles away.
Through the front door, you're met with the main hall and a spacious area to hang up your waterproofs and slip off your walking boots. If you need more storage, the utility room, just off the hallway, houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, alongside a stylish shower room and WC. The large kitchen boasts modern appliances and ample counter space and features double doors through to the cosy lounge area. Once you’ve cooked up a storm, carry your plates through to the contemporary dining room, where a solid table and five chairs offer nights of laughter and games of cards. When you want to relax, the lounge features a Smart TV and a blazing wood burner, while the sunroom offers lovely views of the garden and a sunny spot to catch up on your book. Upstairs, three charming bedrooms sit beneath the characterful roof of the home. The first is the king-size bedroom, which also contains access to an en-suite shower room with WC. The super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request), is just as enticing, with plenty of storage for packing away your belongings, and the last is the pretty single room. Finishing off this floor is the calming bathroom with bath with shower over and WC.
Access via the sunroom or side of the house, the large back garden is ideal for family picnics on the grass and enjoying your first coffee of the day on the bench. The property benefits from private parking for two cars.
