The second floor king room (accessed via an original staircase) is ensuite, while the lower bedroom has a shower room/WC adjacent. The heating system is guest controlled. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge freezer, coffee machine etc. There’s also a utility cupboard with washing machine, iron and ironing board. Immediately outside is a private terrace with views of the Bristol Channel; it has a good sized table, chairs, cushions and parasol. It’s a fascinating hive of activity, as this exciting piece of heritage is made ready to receive visitors once again. Pier View is well suited for couples, families, solo adventurers and business travellers, or if you need a place to stay while attending a family event. Pier View has a commanding position on the northern side of Weston-super-Mare, and is within walking distance of the town centre. Prince Consort Gardens is just across the road, whilst 5 minutes’ walk from the apartment are a well-stocked corner shop, a lively pub with lovely terrace and restaurant, two further restaurants and a café at nearby Anchor head. Accessible along the promenade is the town centre, offering an excellent range of restaurants, cafés, pubs, shops, activities and nightlife, the majority of which are open all year round. Weston-Super-Mare is a Victorian seaside town with classical architecture and caters for a variety of different tastes and interests. To name a few, there are glorious sands, several theatres, two cinemas, the Grand Pier with its year-round indoor fairground and amusements, a big wheel (Easter to September), Grove, Ashcombe and Clarence Parks, golf courses, the world’s largest dedicated helicopter museum, a Wednesday market in the main square (spring & summer) plus lots of events all year round. The apartment is near some lovely walks, including along the coastal path and the ‘Pier to Pier Way’.
