Great lake house

Easy check in, great location on a quiet lake. Property was very clean! Kids loved all the games . Would love to stay again!

Second stay

This is the second time we stayed here and it was just as good as the first. Very clean and as advertised. Would definitely recommend.

Quite and Restful

I had a wonderful stay on Fish Lake in this beautiful cottage. I needed some time to be quiet and rest. It was the perfect place for what I needed! I will be back for sure!

Perfect Getaway!

We had a wonderful late Spring stay at the lake house with our family of 4. The house was exactly what we wanted for our family and had everything we could have needed. House was in pristine condition! We enjoyed our time and can’t wait to stay again. Dennis was responsive and had great local recommendations for places to visit. Perfect location between Kalamazoo and South Haven.

Updated and Private

Had a great long weekend here with the family. The house was updated and well-done. Nice backyard and sand area for the kids to play. Close enough to the city, but felt further away and a very quiet lake.

Fish Lake House

We enjoyed our long weekend stay. It was the perfect size for the four of us, and we loved being able to walk out back and get into the lake. The water was very clean, and perfect for swimming, fishing and kayaking. We made use of the grill, fire pit and laundry. We spent one day in South Haven, and I would highly recommend that. The homeowner was super friendly and always just a text or call away.

Great summer stay

Dennis was MORE than accommodating with us . He reached out and sent multiple texts with great ideas of things to do in the surrounding area. However, this property had everything we needed so we stayed lakeside the entire trip. Neighbors were very friendly as well and even shared some lake toys for our littles to use. We really enjoyed our trip and felt it was perfect for our family. Thank you so much !!

Perfect family getaway

This is the perfect house and location for a peaceful getaway to relax and enjoy nature. The lake is only developed on one half, making for the most picturesque view. Lake traffic is primarily anglers and paddlers. All had a ton of fun fishing off the dock or from the host’s kayak, and playing in the sand. The home is clean, updated and better appointed than most VRBO homes we’ve stayed at. The host was extremely welcoming and informative, and his attention to detail in communication prior to and during our trip made us feel very comfortable. We hope to return and recommend it highly.

Relaxing Weekend

The property was exactly as it was in the pictures. My family (2 adults & 18 month old) needed a long weekend away to unwind and spend some quality family time and that's exactly what happened :D The home was clean and all necessities were supplied as listed. We made a lot of delicious family meals and made some good memories. We've sent the link to this house out to close friends and family telling them to stay here if they need a weekend away that's not too far. Would 100% recommend :D

Great house on Fish Lake. Has everything you need to cook and BBQ with the fam. Well-kept house and yard. House was spotless. Host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Great for a couple and a couple kids for fun by the lake. Neighbors are friendly too. Paw Paw is close by with everything you need.

Peaceful and wonderful!

First off, we went in November. So we didn't utilize the lake, but it was so incredibly peaceful to look at anyway. The house is so cute. The owner was very available and kind. We didn't have good cell service, but the wifi helped in that matter. We loved our stay and recommend this property!!

House and lake were amazing!

Dennis was a pleasure to deal with. He made the check-in process very easy and was very responsive to my questions. The house was exceptionally clean and conveniently located. The neighbors treated us like close friends rather than neighbors. Cannot wait to stay there again next summer and definitely plan on booking a longer stay now that I know how great the property is. Thank you Dennis for everything!

Beautiful home and location

The home is as beautiful as the pictures. It is close to neighbors but they could not have been nicer. The kids loved playing on the beach. Would stay again

Great relaxing spot

We loved having this spot to return to throughout a busy weekend. Easy access to Kalamazoo but a very peaceful stay. We will return another time to enjoy the spot more.

Great Fall getaway!

My husband and I stayed at this property for a weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The property owner helped make this trip super easy and very enjoyable - he called us the day before to make sure we had all the details needed and asked if we had any questions, he gave additional info to ensure we had a great stay and was overall very hospitable. Upon arrival, the place was extremely clean, exactly as described, and perfect for what we were looking for - a secluded, relaxing getaway. The weather wasn't the best during our stay so we weren't able to fully take advantage of all the things the place had to offer (fire pit, paddle boat/kayak, etc.) however it was great to have as options. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Location and Beautiful View

We had a great time! Dennis was very easy to communicate with-we were in contact via the VRBO messaging service and via phone when going over the remaining few details as we approached the visit. The cottage was gorgeous! Fall colors were just turning. The lake is private but easy to fish! We caught plenty just from the kayak & paddleboat, including a few bass and a snapping turtle! Would definitely rent again with Dennis.

Relaxing family retreat

Our family (mom, dad, and 2 toddlers) enjoyed a relaxing mid-week stay at this lake house. Everything was as listed and communicated. Dennis was very communicative, welcoming, and hospitable. We enjoyed the small beach area, dock, paddle boat, and the fish that visited us near the shore. The house was very comfortable. We were very pleased and would go back again.

Great quiet getaway
