Cottage in Wierre-Effroy near Forest

This charming cottage in Wierre-Effroy is ideal for a family or a group. It can accommodate 5 guests and has 2 bedrooms. It has a fenced furnished garden for you to enjoy and relax to the maximum.

The nearest restaurants are 200 m away. Forest lies 5 km from the stay if you wish to spend a day out in the nature. The local grocery store is 4 km from the cottage.

Electric heating is provided for your convenience. This cottage offers children’s bed and high chair for the little ones. Table tennis table and boules court are provided for recreational purposes. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed on the stay. Parking and bicycles are available.

Two mountain bikes are stored in the first outbuilding, just before the one where the bins are to fetch bread in the morning or for a more important walk.

The guest can check in between 4-6 PM and checkout between 9-10 AM.

We rented both houses with 4 people and 2 dogs - and spent a very relaxing time (end of Sept-beginning of Oct 2023). Both are very well equipped, you did not have to take anything with you. Julien was a very attentive and friendly host from start to finish.

Heel comfortabel , gezellig en net huis. We kwamen niets tekort want alles was voorzien. Heel goed ontvangen door de heel vriendelijke gastheer Julien. Groot domein en omheinde tuin, waar onze 2 bernersennenhonden het heel erg naar hun zin hadden. Heel mooie wandelingen kunnen maken aan de prachtige Opalkust, waaronder Boulogne sur Mer, Cap Gris Nez, Cap Blanc Nez, Les dunes des Slack, La Vallée du Dénacre, ... Genoten van de heerlijke streekprodukten en specialiteiten (ook door Julien aangeboden) zoals de lekkere 2 Cap bieren, vers appelsap van zijn eigen appels, kazen, verse vis van de markt in Boulogne... ..).

We hadden een huisje in Wierre Effroy. Een mooi huis, ruim met een grote tuin met meubilair. Grote huiskamer met ruime keuken. Boven twee ruime slaapkamers. De spiltrap is goed te doen. De badkamer was mooi. Er is een goede bakker in het dorp. Boulogne sur mer is redelijk dichtbij. Een goed restaurant is wat moeilijk te vinden, dichtbij. Al met al een heel goed verblijf gehad!!

Avec notre chien, nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis Ă  l'aise dans cet appartement confortable oĂč rien ne manquait. La magnifique rĂ©gion dans laquelle vous vivez a Ă©tĂ© une vraie dĂ©couverte. Entspannter Urlaub an den Deux-Caps

Wir haben zu dritt mit Hund einen wunderbar entspannten Urlaub verbracht. Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer traumhaften Landschaft. Es liegt inmitten de Natur. Ist sehr gemĂŒtlich und landestypische eingerichtet. Es gibt tolle StrĂ€nde fĂŒr ausgedehnte SpaziergĂ€nge, kleine und grĂ¶ĂŸere Orte fĂŒr Besichtigungen und EinkĂ€ufe und gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Wir haben all das und vor allem die Gastfreundschaft des Vermieters und der Franzosen generell sehr genossen. Wir kommen wieder :)

Heerlijk huis, het begon al gelijk goed met de zeer gastvrije ontvangst door de eigenaar (een regionaal biertje stond koud) en Julien besprak de vele mogelijkheden voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. In de week die volgde hebben we zeker gebruik gemaakt van zijn adviezen en hebben ontdekt wat een prachtig deel van Frankrijk dit is. Met het weer hadden we geluk, uitzonderlijk goed voor eind augustus/begin september, fijn buiten ontbijten, aan het begin van de avond een aperitiefje op een bankje bij ondergaande zon. En dan nog op 200 m een perfect restaurant, ideaal!. We hebben genoten, lekker uitgerust (goede bedden) en veel gezien. Een aanrader. Merci Julien.

Mooie en volledig uitgeruste gĂźte (tot haardroger en mixer toe). De volledig omheinde tuin was ideaal voor onze twee honden. De sympathieke gastheer Julien zorgde voor een kleine versnapering bij aankomst en was goed bereikbaar bij vragen, maar liet ons onze privacy. Een toplocatie om even helemaal tot rust te komen en te genieten van de prachtige omgeving.

Mooi en gezellig zeer rustig gelegen huis met grote hondvriendelijke tuin. Binnen een uur rijden is er heel veel te doen en te zien: prachtige natuur, leuke dorpjes en mooie steden. Nog geen 5 minuten lopen van het huis ligt een geweldig restaurant.:L’ Eau à la Bouche. Uitstekende gastheer die voor een goede ontvangst zorgde en gedurende ons verblijf goed bereikbaar was. Sehr schönes Haus mitten auf dem Land und im GrĂŒnen in völliger Ruhe mit eigenem Garten. Der Vermieter ist fĂŒr Fragen (auch vor der Anreise) unkompliziert erreichbar und kĂŒmmert sich. Die Gegend hat landschaftlich viel zu bieten und die CĂŽte d'Opal ist ganz nah. FußlĂ€ufig gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt, Dankeschön!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in einem sehr ruhig gelegenen alten Haus. Zimmer sind sauber und der Aufenthaltsraum im Erdgeschoss ist sehr groß. Die Wendeltreppe sollte man nur ohne Wein gehen. Der Garten ist abgeschlossen und bietet fĂŒr Hunde einen guten Auslauf. Wir werden bestimmt noch einmal kommen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett.

We had a wonderful stay here, two weeks with our 4 year old son and dog. We loved the garden, everyday we played games outside and also had dinner under the umbrella. - Beach days at la plage Boulogne sur Mer. - Croissants, baquette en flans, delicious at bakery Le Fournil. - Lunch at Place Dalton in the city Boulogne, visit l'eglise Saint Nicolas and walk around the old city wall. - Notre Dame de Boulogne, impressive. - Jeu de Boules, football, ping pong, badminton and a picknick in the garden and drink a glass of wine in the relaxing chair in the sun. - Musee Batterie Todt. - Our son loved Eurolac in Ardres. - Very good wifi in and around the house. Julien, thank you very much for our fine vacation and for the cold drinks and flan on our hot arrival day. :)
