This has been one of my favorite vacation stays! The cabin was a perfect private retreat. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed. I sat out and read on the deck every day with visitors ranging from curious cattle, deer, and lots of chattery birds. So many beautiful hikes close by. I'm hoping to schedule a return visit in the winter with snow!

Was a beautiful cabin.Very well stocked kitchen, could’ve used a few more bath towels and wash cloths but we made do. I thought it was going to be more private, there was a rural fire dept right beside the cabin, kind of kills the remote feel. The road was closer than I would’ve thought too. The trucks Monday morning were noticeable. Overall, it was a great place to be, we enjoyed it very much. Very clean, comfy bed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this little cabin in the woods. I rented it the first night so that I could prep flowers for my grandson’s wedding. It was a perfect set up for us. Then the next two nights, my grandson and his new bride stayed at the cabin. They said it was wonderful, and they hope to be able to stay somewhere like that again. The host were very accommodating, and answered my questions promptly. The easy access to the wedding venue at Lake of the Woods made it extra special. Thank you very much, we hope to stay there again. By the way, the pre-wedding pictures turned out beautifully on the front porch as well as the loft. I wish I could post some of those, maybe I’ll do another post lol

Great spot for us two "elders" to use as our home base while a group of (younger/heartier) family and friends gathered for campout at Lake of the Woods. Since we sold our camp trailer after many years, I had looked for nice, nearby cabin with AC we could book....this was it! Appreciated cabin layout, cleanliness, clear communication with host and key-free check-in. It was a cool/smoke-free place that we could come back to for our own relaxing time. Thanks!

Very nice cozy cabin and wonderful hosts. I can't see how you could go wrong staying here. We had a water issue. But the whole area had the issue because of a water main break. John and Christine were very responsive and help us find a solution. The break was fixed the next day. I wish everyone would be this easy to deal with.

Crater Lake vacation

The cabin is very pretty and well furnished. It has ample dishes and utensils and all appliancesThe arrival was difficult because we could not identify the right building and were out of cell range to call the owner for information.We had plumbing problems which were quite unpleasant but the owner tried to be helpful - which is hard when it is such a remote location.

My wife and I had a much needed relaxing weekend! Great location for snow shoeing trails, and Lake of the woods lodge only 10 minute drive. Love this cabin!

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated the effort the owners put into all of the amenities and comforts of the cabin. Check-in and check-out was easy as well. The cabin is located near many lakes and trails so there is plenty to do in the area. Highly recommend!

This cabin has all you need

This studio cabin was spacious, cozy, and had all the appliances you could need. There aren't photos of the bathroom on the listing, but the bathroom is also large and really nice. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Crater Lake Visit

Beautiful, quaint cabin, 1 hour from Crater Lake. The location sits at the end of a wonderful drive on the Volcanic Scenic Drive. A great restaurant and marina nearby to get essentials. We definitely will refer the cabin to friends when they visit Crater Lake.

Our goal is to make this cabin feel like your home away from home while you are enjoying the natural beauty of this area.

With a full acre and natural surroundings enjoy piece and quiet away from Lake of the Woods Resort, while still taking advantage of the resort activities as you choose too. Only a short 7 miles to the actual resort and even shorter distance to the lake itself from our cabin. A great spot to stay for people wanting to visit Crater Lake National Park and the surrounding lakes. Crater Lake National Park is about 1 hour drive away.

Our cabin is clean and cared for in a very comfortable setting, includes an electric fireplace for romantic ambiance.

Summers are thriving in the area, with five different lakes and the popular Lake of the Woods Resort which has boat rentals, restaurants, live music, stores, and more. In the winters you can snowmobile to the cabin from surrounding trails. Enjoy quiet time while in the cabin away from the resort. We offer fishing gear, snowshoes, and the area offers year round fun. Table mountain snow park is 18 miles away for top sledding fun!
