Great location

House exactly as described, and communication with our host was easy and trouble free. The location is exceptional - easy walk to Lake Harriet, 50th & France, and Linden Hills restaurants. We travel to Minneapolis frequently, this was an excellent stay.

Morningside

This is a tired old house in a great location. The pictures don't show how poorly it has been maintained over the years. There is no bathroom on the main floor and none of the stairways have handrails--and there are a lot of stairs.

Thank you for your review Irene. You are correct that the home is old, it's just about to turn 100! Because there are half walls on both staircases, a railing is not required, but we will take your suggestion and install railings. We advertise that there is a bathroom on the upper floor and a half bath on lower floor. I'm sorry you thought there would be a bathroom on the main floor. We do our best to make guests happy and we are sorry that your standards and expectations were not met. We thought they might have because you asked to extend your stay. Thank you for your candid feedback.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet accessible to parks, restaurants, bars, retail, and coffee shops. You can walk to all of these locations by sidewalk within 3-15 minutes. This home is surrounded by a mix of million dollar homes, quaint cottage homes, and classic colonials.
Many of our longer-term tenants eventually purchased a home in the neighborhood because they really enjoyed their experience living in this location.

What makes this property unique

This house has character and it feels very homey. I love the back yard patio, the quiet neighborhood, and the 1 minute walk to the nearest park. This neighborhood is entirely routed in sidewalks. I love taking walks in the neighborhood and looking at the wide variety of homes. There is a mix of new construction, homes from the early 1900s, Tudors, cottages, colonials, craftsman style, you name it.
